September 7, 201412 yr Was thinking with Duke still #1 on the Friday midweeks that there'd be a chance the sales & official #1s would be different, wonder how close it was.
September 7, 201412 yr Looking at the sales chart each week I do prefer it over the official one :( To think I was a little excited at the prospect of streaming being added too but it seems to be a pain in the backside for songs climbing outside the top 40 into the top 40 bar a couple & New entries :( Edited September 7, 201412 yr by R.o.b.
September 7, 201412 yr Some Kate Bush albums are actually climbing lower down the chart! I think that may be due to people buying the more popular ones the week before and have now checked out the lesser known.
September 7, 201412 yr Sam smith album number 1 is a surprise,i really thought the script would be top 2 in the singles.
September 7, 201412 yr The first time for me an excellent track has been denied by streaming (Love Too Deep), oh well at least Say Something was avoided! Swings & roundabouts...
September 7, 201412 yr Gutted that streaming caused G.R.L to miss out on a Top 10 hit especially as they comfortably made it on sales alone
September 7, 201412 yr massively disappointing that love too deep was pushed down 34 --> 48 combined~
September 7, 201412 yr Wasn't expecting Sam Smith to climb to #5, amazed that he's scored a post-album Top 5 single, especially with the album going back to #1 too this week! Disappointed that G.R.L. missed out on the Top 10, I thought yesterday's tragic news would actually have held it up if anything.
September 7, 201412 yr KONGOS top 100 on sales :D shame it won't get any support now, but at least there's something we can take from this~
September 7, 201412 yr Ouch at Iron Sky missing out this time it just wasn't stable enough on iTunes to stay in there hopefully streaming and I ceased airplay will help it for next week. Same with Hozier! Great to see Meghan Trainor in the top 75 officially with only streams - hope it can rise in the coming weeks. Does Anyone know where Sigma/Paloma are in the official chart?
September 7, 201412 yr James Masterton has pointed out that The Script are #1 on the download chart. He reckons it's down to physicals but there isn't one. I suppose the download chart is single tracks only, and the sales chart includes digital EPs?

I suppose the download chart is single tracks only, and the sales chart includes digital EPs?Prayer In C doesn't have an EP either; it's probably multiple versions in general.
September 7, 201412 yr A crying shame that GRL can be 6 on sales but 11 with streaming. So irritating!
