First up in the Top 20 we have Train, who scored their second Top 40 hit in 2010 with 'Hey Soul Sister' a whole nine years after their first 'Drops Of Jupiter' in 2001. Rihanna is at 19 with a track from her Rated R album. 'Te Amo' became her fifteenth Top 20 hit in 2010.

 

Kelly Rowland returned in 2010 with the help of David Guetta for the summer smash 'Commander'. I thought this would be at the very least Top 10 on here as I remember it being quite well liked on Buzzjack. The biggest surprise comes at 17 as Katy Perry bows out. 'California Gurls' was the first single to be taken from her album 'Teenage Dreams'.

 

Rounding off this section is K'NAAN with his football world cup hit 'Wavin' Flag'.

Into the Top 15 we go with Pixie Lott's fifth Top 20 single, 'Turn It Up'. Next up we have a Heart favourite from Plan B. 'She Said' was a big Top 3 hit in the summer of 2010 and was the second single to be taken from his hit album 'The Defamation Of Strickland Banks'.

 

Scissor Sisters returned in 2010 after a three year break with 'Fire With Fire'. It was the first single to be taken from their third studio album 'Night Work'. Inna had one of the biggest dance hits of the summer in 2010 with the excellent 'Hot', which was one of the songs of the summer for me. It peaked at Number 6 in the charts and just missing out on the Top 10 is Alexandra Burke, who teamed up with Pitbull for 'All Night Long'. It became her fourth Top 10 hit.

10. Pendulum - Watercolour (7.15)

Making a very welcome entry into the Top 10 is Pendulum with the first release from their third studio album 'Immersion'. 'Watercolour' made Number 4 in the UK, making it their biggest hit to date.

 

 

9. Swedish House Mafia feat. Pharrell - One (I Wanna Know Your Name) (7.37)

The debut hit from SHM featuring Pharrell, and is still one of their best in my opinion.

 

8. Diana Vickers - Once (7.58)

Debut single from Diana Vickers was a Number 1 hit in the summer of 2010.

 

 

7. Example - Kickstarts (7.84)

'Kickstarts' became a Top 3 single for Example in 2010 and was his second Top 10 hit following on from 'Won't Go Quietly'.

 

Ooh, didn't expect Pendulum to be top 10 but Watercolour's really great/unappreciated so that's fab. A shame to see Train only reach 20th, such a feel good song in the warm weather (particularly that summer!), I remember Buzzjack completely fawned over California Gurls, it's really aged terribly.

Pendulum top 10!!! I'm satisfied :D

6. Kelis - Accapella (7.90)

Third single to be taken from Alicia's fourth studio album 'The Element of Freedom' peaked at Number 7 in the UK Charts, and makes the Top 5 in this countdown.

Fantastic to see 'Stereo Love' get this high on the countdown. :D This was such a big holiday anthem, and when it crossed over into the UK charts it peaked at Number 4.

 

 

3. Kylie Minogue - All The Lovers (8.07)

Kylie returned in 2010 with a new album 'Aphrodite' and a new single 'All The Lovers', which peaked at Number 3, which equals its position on this countdown.

I don't think Robyn could ever be a dark horse on Buzzjack :lol: Very pleased with the results, excellent top ten!

 

Weirdly I only started to love 'Stereo Love' this year when re-listening to the very album a few months ago :lol: Glad it's so high though! The Robyn track is good and I love 'Alejandro' and 'All the Lovers' so very well chosen, Buzzjack!
