And the worst No.1 of the year is upon us...

I think that title belongs to next weeks number one :puke2:

Nothing will possibly be worse than Stay With Me...

As much as I hate Stay With Me now I don't think it's the worst number one of 2014, one of the top 10 maybe but not the worst

I swear if Bang Bang was by anyone but Jessie J the majority of Buzzjack would be adoring it! I know it's quite a predictable #1 but it's much better than her preachy stuff.. (also what is the Wake Me Up Before You Go Go bit?!)

Redlight's new song sounds really really familiar, I first heard it on the radio last night and thought it was a classic from 10 years ago!

To be fair, I really don't like Ariana Grande either.

Also Jessie's biggest problem is that her personality WHIFFS of insincerity.

1. Jessie J, Ariana Grande & Nicki Minaj - Bang Bang

13. Shift K3Y - I Know

15. Power Music Workout - All About That Bass (Workout Mix)

30. Redlight - 9TS (90s Baby)

33. Carrie Underwood - I Know You Won't

263. DJ Maximum - Shaky (feat. Newbaan & Boy Better Know)

783. Beth Sherburn - Joker (feat. Lil Wayne)

The people hating on Bang Bang are so predictable, seriously I knew Ethan and Jay17s responses before I even came into this thread. Dont worry, I am sure another faceless dance song will be #01 soon for you to collectively jizz over.
Hopefully Shift K3y can comfortably make the top 30 this week with the excellent 'I Know' and good to see Redlight at least start the week in the iTunes top 40. :cheer:

'Bang Bang' is frankly abysmal, undoubtedly one of the most prosaic number ones of 2014~

Each to their own and all that but prosaic is surely the last word you can use to describe Bang Bang as a huge fan of the dance #1s this year :/ I can see why people would call it shouty, but never prosaic... It's different from most other songs out at the moment, and it's certainly unique among #1s this year.

But it's PROSAIC duh!!1!

Follow up albums rarely sell better than debut albums anyway.

I never said they did? I just said I hope her career continues to decline after this.

It's still a decline.

I don't think it is tbh. Jessie J has had a lot more chart success than both Ariana and Nicki, so if anything I think she's the one helping them out.

Ariana has massive hype surrounding her as has Nicki. She planned this really well tbh

The song would be nowhere near as succesfull when she'd sing it solo

(I like the song tho)

Adele says hi :kink:

But yeah that's very true. Jessie J's second album WAS shocking compared to the first though.

I think both albums are absolutely crap. Pretty much every non-single is utter shit on both of them, besides Abracadabra, Breathe, Sexy Lady and Square One.

I said rearley not all the time but yeah Adele is probably an example that it can happen

Well, yeah, obviously it does best with all three, but if it was just Jessie J it would probably do better than if it was just Ariana or just Nicki.

I think the only country where Jessie is the least famous of the three is probably the US.

Ella will be performing 'Glow' on Sunday Night at the Palladium shortly so it'd be great if that could push the pre-order into the top 200! It's currently holding up very well at #450 as of a couple of hours ago when I last checked considering the weekend effect always tends to push pre-orders down quite a lot.
