The X Factor performances have NEVER been eligible to chart, and they started before The Voice came along. Not sure why it would change.

Lauren made it to 13 on iTunes and probably the only one who would make it in the official charts. I hope they are included officially and just not included in midweek. If a song is as popular as that and gets many buys then it deserves a place in the charts

Those tracks weren't included in the mids whatsoever, let alone top 100, otherwise Lauren would have charted and a few others.

Oh I meant just not included in midweeks as that they were not included in the midweek charts :)

Sorry to confuse anyone with my comment :)

Is she performing? Because only R1 is supporting this so surely it'll do nothing but drop next week as they've taken it off the playlist.
No idea but she has been gaining a great amount this last day or two (I think someone said she was on Greg James' show or something to do with the Teen Awards). Maybe she's performing there tonight, so could hopefully get a little boost, maybe? Hope so anyway!
Ooh yay another Fuse release week! Everyone their Fuse bingo cards ready?! ...

- It's FUUUUUSE!

- Killbeatz let's go

- It's Off Da Ground

- It's a worldwide movement

- Mr. Hackett

- The genius

- Ahkay Ahkay!

- Tinaaa-na-na-na-na

Haha!

Can't believe Meghan's lead over the competition is still as big as it is. Knew it would be big here but didn't think it would dominate the competition as much as it has.

It is a crap week for releases which doesn't help. Not a fan of the Bump & Grind remix. I will stick with the original. Go Fuse ODG!! :cheer:

Will be interesting to see the effect in Jessie J and Maroon 5's itunes performance after tonight's X Factor. Think Burning Up could be top 10 if the performance is really strong. Honestly could not make a prediction for Maroon 5's Animal. Not expecting much from it though.

Heard pretty much them all.

I wonder how much the Itunes chart will reflect the x factor results? Lauren Platt doing great again her song from the 1st week is still in the top30! and Andrea for both weeks not doing as well on itunes as everyone thought.

I doubt Burning Up will get much of an effect considering she's performing Bang Bang

According to her mailing list, she's performing Bang Bang. I hope it's wrong that there's either a mashup with Burnin' Up or just Burnin Up. It would be a wasted opportunity not to push the new single.

I think The Voice performances are chart-eligible because it's a BBC show.

I thought Simon Cowell asked for the X-Factor songs not to chart, so that it wouldn't make the eventual winner obvious.

This is correct, the producers have requested that they don't chart to protect the "integrity" of the show.

It's not out of the realms of possibility to believe that a higher proportion of the general public browse the iTunes chart these days than the official chart anyway so we can all see that Jay James is top ten right now and Lauren is the most consistently successful so far. If the producers want to protect the integrity they shouldn't show up in the iTunes chart either imo.

They don't normally, not sure why they are this year :P They showed up briefly a couple of years ago but stopped appearing after an hour or so.

I guess they're more relaxed about it now? I seem to remember in previous years they wouldn't mention the songs were on iTunes, they'd say something like "visit our website for details on how to download the performances", but now they specifically mention iTunes at the end of the show.

8. Fuse ODG ft Angel- T.I.N.A.

What does T.I.N.A. stand for by the way?
