Well clearly the song does have big selling power, hence why it peaked in the top 5 on iTunes so far (something their previous post-album singles didn't manage).

Post-album in this case would be what? 2-3 weeks after its release? Come on, we can't compare it with "Midnight Memories" or "You & I". "Gotta Be You" and "Little Things" would be valid comparisons.

'Gotta Be You' was released before the album :P

I would say 'Night Changes' is comparable to 'Little Things' though, it just didn't take off as immediately.

I'd say 'Night Changes' is most comparable with 'Kiss You' if anything, although 'Little Things' had the X-Factor performance to boost it more significantly. (though I acknowledge it would've done well anyway).

He performed that like 4 weeks ago on X Factor?

Yes, but I hope that's his last! (at least until he's out of the top 50 :P )

Little Things and Night Changes aren't particularly comparable IMO, as Little Things was in practice a pre-album single, it had the airplay build-up, promotion and video release before it got released and shot up the charts quickly when the album was put out. It's kinda neither pre or post album  I'd say it's most comparable to Kiss You also, and it's doing considerably better now.

Oh and I don't think Night Changes has taken that long to take off, it's only been out for around 4 weeks and airplay has been building since. And promo has only kicked in. People can't buy what they've not heard of :heehee:

Gorgon City - Go All Night (feat. Jennifer Hudson) #132

Great to see the pre-order so high! I hope it'll crack the top 100 soon.

Also, it's been taken off of spotify again. It's the only track of their album not available. I really hope they have it back up when its released next week, as I'm pretty sure it'll do really well on streaming. Glad to see it looks like it'll be a decent hit though! Really surprised at lack of Capital support though, as they're giving some of their other songs the odd spin here and there.

Apparently that song was banned by the BBC, so Max Romeo claimed it was about living in a flat with a leaky ceiling above the bed. I don't think they believed him.

Swear it has been playlisted on Capital, but that doesn't mean they're actually playing it

 #21 Olly Murs - UP! (feat Demi Lovato)

This song has really come out of no where hope their performance on Sat will secure that top 10/top 5!

But it was on the top 100 for a few weeks prior ;)

Just went to look and they're playing it right now. Guess it's just a glitch with Compare My Radio, unless they're giving it their first play just now. :P

Edit: Just found the right page for the plays and it seems Capital is hammering it yay! With Radio 1 A list for next week too I think it has a really good chance for top 10. :D

39th most played track over the last month, still over 80 plays though :o

Capital are notorious for playlisting tracks and then ignoring them (My Life, i, Harlem Shake) so good to see Go All Night getting support! Think Gorgon City have been well supported since Ready For Your Love.

Ugh. 'Budapest' really needs to FOAD. 'Listen To the Man' & 'Blame It On Me' are far, FAR superior! :drama:
