Great for Gorgon City & Jennifer Hudson! With Radio 1 A-listing it should keep climbing. Sad to see it hasn't been given much radio support outside BBC Radio Xtra/1. Although Capital Xtra gave a couple spins to a remix. Would love it if the Capital group got on board with this song!

I'm just wondering but with a pre-order in the top 200, does that generally dictate the song will go top 10 on iTunes? I think the song will go top 40, but would love it to go top 20 on the official chart. Sadly streaming will likely hold it back though (it's not in the top 200 spotify chart yet).

I think it will go Top 20 initially before potentially rising in January. Like I said yesterday, its a great NYE party track but there hasn't been too much hype yet (seen the video a lot though).

It's not on Spotify, annoyingly they've taken it down (even though the rest of the album is still available to stream) and I assume they'll add it again when it's released.

...surely you should know by now that all instant grats are able to chart? This changed over a month ago and hasn't exactly gone unmentioned on here. :P

;) Oh yeh I did that's right but it's only the ones that aren't pre ordering the album so it will be a fair bit down the chart!

I'm streaming the song on spotify right now though? :lol:

It's on the standard and deluxe version of their album and is credited as Gorgon City, Jennifer Hudson - Go All Night (maybe they re-added it?).

You can see here how pre-orders performed in the official charts when released. It gives an idea how it could perform (of course it still doesn't guarantee a good neither a bad position) :)

Interesting to see Rhymes on the pre-order list too. It sounds like a club song that hasn't really been tailored for radio, so intrigued to see how it does on release. Has been getting hype for a while now, so hopefully does well!

Ohh they must have literally just re-added it in the past couple of days, I went to listen on Monday and it wasn't there!

Ah, that's great then! Hope it climbs up quickly as it's amazing. :wub:

Thanks so much for this! Completely for about that thread.

Ye, it does sound like it'll be a great NYE track so fingers crossed it'll rise in January. :)

:up: 22. Nicki Minaj feat. Skylar Grey - Bed of Lies

Still climbing. Hopefully coming for a top 15 peak tomorrow, but I can see it dropping over the next few weeks with Christmas week and gift card week.

574. All Together Now (Radio Edit) - The Peace Collective

This really seems to be floundering a bit, heard barely anything about it compared to The Justice Collective. I expect it will make the top 10 anyway but probably won't come anywhere close to #1.

They were #1 on the 'sales only' chart.

I know what he means though, being the official #1 would generate more exposure which would probably cushion the fall a little bit. For example, I know the official UK #1 is played a few times a day on Radio 1 and each time billed as that with the voiceover.

Did not know Kelly C was being used as the soundbed for BBC's Christmas TV schedule advert again! Last year they used 'Winter Dreams (Brandon's Song)' from her album, but this year they've gone for the single, 'Underneath The Tree'! Hope it's only just been used as of today/this week and it boosts the song top 100! (Doubt it though, but it might explain why they're two entries of the song in the top 1500, despite none of them being particularly high)

Oh come on, YES! I'd love for this to get a real significant boost. :wub:

I don't agree, I think if you ask most of the general public 'who is #1' mostly you'd get the following responses:

* the iTunes #1

* Big Top 40 #1

* or don't know/don't care.

The official chart is very unimportant today, which is why it amuses me when Cheryl claims a success by means of a tenuous record like 'most #1s by a UK female artist' and then sells a pathetic amount of albums.

Totally agree with this. I don't know anybody who listens to the chart, it really holds less importance than it ever has. Most people could probably *guess* the iTunes #1 or if not will say "Oh yeah, I've heard that on radio/TV before".

I never base what music I like/download on where it charts, as most of it never does anyway :lol: I just get surprised/pleased if I find out it does!

Album success doesn't take away from having #1 singles though... :lol: There's no denying that the Only Human sales are very poor but she has proved herself with album sales before (the million copies sold of 3 Words say hello), and 5 #1 singles *is* impressive and shows how successful she is. You can't seem to accept this... :P

I'd say she was on the way out though, a bit like Geri Halliwell in 1999/2000. She had a phase of huge success (both singles and albums), and now the public have totally lost interest.
I think they've lost interest in her as an album artist definitely, but she can still sell singles as proved by Crazy Stupid Love (not the highest selling #1 of the year but still a decent seller, same top 40 weeks as Call My Name). I fear she's becoming a bit of a fanbase act now though sadly, what with I Don't Care having such a fast decline. :(

there's another Fleur East - Uptown Funk at 80 :o

What's this then an official version?
