Biography

Adam Richard Wiles (born 17 January 1984), better known by his stage name Calvin Harris, is a Scottish singer-songwriter, record producer and DJ. He owns the vanity label Fly Eye Records. His gold-selling debut album, I Created Disco, was released in 2007 and contained the top-ten singles, "Acceptable in the 80s" and "The Girls". His second studio album, Ready for the Weekend (2009), reached number one on the UK Albums Chart and includes "I'm Not Alone", which debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart, the top-five hit "Ready for the Weekend", and the singles "Flashback" and "You Used to Hold Me".

In October 2012, Harris released his third studio album, 18 Months, which contained the singles, "Bounce", "Feel So Close", "Let's Go", "We'll Be Coming Back", "Sweet Nothing", "Drinking from the Bottle", "I Need Your Love", and "Thinking About You". All of these singles reached the UK top 10. Harris has also written and produced tracks for other recording artists, including Kylie Minogue, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Dizzee Rascal, Cheryl Cole, Rita Ora, Example, and Rihanna's internationally successful single, "We Found Love", which gave him his first US #1 single on the Billboard Hot 100. Harris is set to release his fourth studio album, Motion, on 3 November 2014.

Harris holds the record for the most top ten hits from one studio album on the UK Singles Chart with nine hits, surpassing Michael Jackson. According to Forbes, Harris was the highest paid DJ of 2013 and 2014. - iTunes

Album Discussion Here

Bang Bang haters-check out the Youtube video of Jessie J doing the song-BADLY out of tune-it's hilarious!
Does anyone not like Hozier? All I ever hear about on here now lol.

Some people have placed the boring/MOR stamp on it but at least TMTC has more substance than the Ed Sheeran drivel.

YAS at Hozier being top 10.

Wasn't expecting Hozier to be top 10 THIS week! I'd bet it's not top 10 on sales though (and has kicked out 'Shake It Off').

Take Me To Sleep is top ten then :mansoncheer: :mansoncheer: :mansoncheer: Will probably stay there for a number of weeks too <_<
Go Hozier :D Finally matching its international success
Really can't fathom people finding Take Me To Church boring. I love the lyrics.

I forget about these threads

Jealous FINALLY out of top 10 :drama: :D

Great to see Prayer In C and Waves back in top 40 (sorry Taylor :() and LAN slowing down!

I hope AOM doesn't go any higher :please: Same goes for Happy but even though it's overplayed as hell I want to see it first to reach the 2m mark in the next few months (sales/streams/whatever)

Blame climbing though :drama:

I wonder if Shake It Off has climbed over on sales? Shame there's no countdown for that I know of we have to wait until 7 :(

I predicted Outside wouldn't be #10! :cheer: (still love that track though

Slowly getting into TMTC

Edited by SPINNING ADAM

 The horrendous Hozier has kicked this out the top 10...

At least Heroes is still there :D

In all honesty, most of Outside's top 10 weeks didn't even happen on sales :P

'Outside' ~ shame it's been pushed out of the top ten by Hozier <_<
