February 22, 201511 yr No big deal who's winning the #2/#3 battle they're both equally terrible. Looking at a month at the top for Ellie now before Years & Years swoop in! 2015 the year of the long-runners?

Her career began when she met record producer Starsmith and Frankmusik, and she was later spotted by Jamie Lillywhite, who later became her manager and A&R. After signing to Polydor Records in July 2009, Goulding released her debut extended play, An Introduction to Ellie Goulding, later that year. In 2010, she became the second artist to both top the BBC's annual Sound of... poll and win the Critics' Choice Award at the Brit Awards in the same year. Goulding released her debut studio album, Lights, in 2010. The album debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart and has sold over 850,000 copies in the UK. Her cover of Elton John's "Your Song" reached number two in the UK in December 2010 and on 29 April 2011 she performed the song at the wedding reception of Prince William and Catherine Middleton at Buckingham Palace. The album's title track, "Lights", was released in the US in March 2011, and peaked at number two on the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). Goulding's second album Halcyon was released in October 2012, "Anything Could Happen" preceded the album as the lead single. Halcyon debuted at number two on the UK Albums Chart, and, after 65 weeks, reached number one. Halcyon debuted at number nine on the Billboard 200 Chart, her first top ten debut in the United States. Halcyon Days, a repackaged edition of Halcyon, was released on 23 August 2013, it included new singles including "Burn", which became her first UK number-one single in the same month. At the 2014 BRIT Awards she received the award for Best British Female. By the end of 2013, she has sold an estimated 4 million albums and 15 million singles worldwide. - Wikipedia Chart history - Top 100 (Year peak title): 2009 53 Under The Sheets -1- 2010 04 Starry Eyed -2- 2010 26 Guns And Horses -3- 2010 19 The Writer -4- 2010 12 Wonderman (Tinie Tempah Feat. February 22, 201511 yr I suppose #15 isn't THAT bad for Charli, I was only expecting higher because iTunes pre-orders were indicating a higher position. With Doing It still doing well and the next single (hopefully 'I Need Ur Luv') it might sell okay over time.
February 22, 201511 yr I am so happy for Hozier and Ellie Goulding and Also so glad to hear Uptown Funk :cheer:
February 22, 201511 yr GO ELLIE AGAIN :cheer: Love me like you do is life and so so so so amazing  It has even managed to hold off a Taylor video single boost in my chart. One of the best #1's of the last few years  Take me to church is awful now though :(
February 22, 201511 yr I've done a bit of a u-turn on 'Take Me to Church', I'm beginning to dislike it now, apart from the stellar second verse. 'Love Me Like You Do' reigns supreme again! The moment it begins playing in 50 Shades is so euphoric, and has made me appreciate a whole lot more, much like with 'Earned It'. Yay.
February 22, 201511 yr It's sounding almost like a new song still, which is amazing considering how long it's been around for. Slightly disappointed it's not getting the #1 to be perfectly honest, I can tell Love Me Like You Do is going to tire on me many many times quicker.
February 22, 201511 yr The bridge is so wonderful in Take Me To Church. The chorus is starting to grate a bit - too many high notes.
