And how do you quantify that? Both songs have been absolutely massive hits and are doing extremely well. They will also sell huge numbers overall in the longrun too.

 

I'm comparing the more consistent sales of songs released earlier and that aren't held back for an over the top a mount of time. King sold well but wasn't hugely massive in its first week and thereafter it's downloads fell week on week in the way held back songs do.

Will's back!!!!!! Why isn't this a big hit? So soulful and catchy.

So yes that's my favourite but wouldn't work as a single, so I'm thrilled for 'King Kunta' as it would easily be my pick.

'u' is fantastic, especially the way it is led into from 'These Walls'! My favourite is probably the very obvious choice of 'King Kunta' so this single announcement has me positively squealing with joy. Also loving 'The Blacker the Berry', 'Momma' (for the lyrics), 'How Much A Dollar Cost' and even 'Mortal Man'.

I've seen a surprising amount of people on Facebook saying that they love the song, it's just a good fun song and (as I've said in the Eurovision thread) I think it stands a good chance of doing really well in Austria seeing as we'll be in a sea of mainly ballads.
