April 12, 201511 yr What was wrong with 1993? And besides Lay Me Down, no,1s have been ok this year. Edited April 12, 201511 yr by T Boy
April 12, 201511 yr It's 1993 all over again so far in this years chart Do you mean 1992 when there were few chart toppers? Explain!
April 12, 201511 yr EVERYTHING. It's probably when Jenny Fisher was born and she ruined the Now series with her a Rihanna hate tbh.
April 12, 201511 yr Do you mean 1992 when there were few chart toppers? Explain! 1992 had no one-week #1s and 1993 only had one one-week #1
April 12, 201511 yr 1 week #1's are fine as long as there are interesting battles each week. Last year was very predictable for that period where there was only ever one contender each week (although I did like the majority of those tracks). Long-runners are good too in that it's unpredictable who/what comes along & when they get overthrown.
April 12, 201511 yr Good! Although the longest period they went without a one-week #1 was two years between November 1991 and November 1993
April 12, 201511 yr I don't know what BuzzJack has against 1 week #1s really. I find constant long runners more boring by comparison! I like a mix of both.
April 12, 201511 yr I don't know what BuzzJack has against 1 week #1s really. I find constant long runners more boring by comparison! I like a mix of both. The problem is less with the one weekers themselves and more with the posters that gave huge sticks up their arses that moan every time we have a long runner as if it's crushing their souls because the county isn't following a nice symmetrical one week pattern that's pleasing to their eyes.
