How bizarre that Radio 1 are playing the original of Younger but the Kygo remix is the one penciled in for release (eventually...)

How do people expect Pretty Girls to do in the UK?. It will hardly get playlisted by Radio 1?

Hopefully the people at Radio 1 will think PG works as the lead single for Iggy's new album too since she also has lead credit on the track and playlist it :kink:

I know there are multi versions of 'Talking Body' charting but it's doing far worse than I expected - Think the fact the releases have been available for 2 weeks hasn't helped.

It hadn't done well on single pre-orders anyways really. I think the clean love edit is doing much better than I expected (I thought it would peak #40 at most). Multiple versions has also affected it's progress up the charts.

The original version has only been made available today though and it had no pre-order if I recall correctly. It's the version that should be charting the highest and not that Clean Love Edit

The KREAM Remix is thankfully already on the decrease though, once the original is the highest charting version I think it'll properly take off then

Well I first heard it months ago (possibly pre-2015?) so possibly its early premiere didn't do it any favours. Hopefully the multiple versions and remixes can help it :)

It's a post-album single in most countries so that's probably why :P (the album was released late 2014 in most countries).

I guess they wanted to push her here later this year.

Could this strange release strategy actually be a blessing for 'Talking Body'? As the other versions of the song die down, the original can gather steam over time meaning the song grows organically and charts for longer than it would with just one version... Probably wishful thinking ~
Of course Talking Body and Preach would flop. I mean they are actually good and interesting songs.

Can ANYTHING please just break that god-awful top 2, one of the worst I can remember honestly. Cheerleader is probably slightly better as I like the production but the """""vocals"""" are so bad they ruin it entirely.

 Preach. (pun intended, wholeheartedly)

Talking Body could/should be a massive hit :( It's doing it in the US so hopefully it's just a slow start here...

See You Again is so dated and out of place, I find it hard to see why it has done so well?

I do like Cheerleader though, not as much others though, but I understand its appeal. It is like a better version of Waves.

536. Queen - We Are the Champions

1242. The Fratellis - Chelsea Dagger

I was right about AronChupa doing well in Scotland - #7 on the official Scottish chart (#14 on UK sales)

I thought Tove Lo would be doing a lot better, did the release of the remixes last week really hurt its sales this much or was it set to underperform anyway? guess we'll never know really
