Her #1 music video in terms of grandeur, quality and experimentation but "only" your 5th favourite song from the album? :o A bit of a shock here as the huge collaboration between these two pop behemoths crashes out. The song, for me, is not one of her strongest singles, nor does it shine on the album. I think this is mostly because it wasn't initially written for Gaga herself and this seeps into the connection she has with the song. Still it's incredibly fun and remained a staple club banger for about a year after it was released. I see it is as quite basic in terms of structure, production and lyrics, especially in terms of how GAGA it is and in relation to the rest of the album, which i think is why it has fallen out already. Still the video is a masterpiece and set yet another benchmark (following on from 'Bad Romance') for how visuals and music can work together.

Literally the perfect pop song, the whole song is a hook. Not just the chorus, the verses of 'k-kinda busy' etc. - it's only just behind Bad Romance as my second favourite single by her, I don't know why it's viewed much worse, it's all I could want from a pop song :(

I'm so glad to see 'Telephone' out so soon! I don't dislike it but it's quite average and it's such an anonymous song for her, that could be literally anyone.

Aw huge loss from 'Telephone' there. Still possibly my favourite music video ever, also. Will never forget watching it for the first time and being completely blown away, and everyone discussing it at school the next day. :wub:

None of the songs I voted for have gone, but going for Alejandro this time, even though it won't go, but don't see the fuss about this song, definitely the worst out of the singles from the Fame/Monster era.

I love all 4 but I voted Monster. Dance in The Dark to be saved please. Iconic Gaga and one of her very best.

Tbh Telephone is the worst song on the album.
