12k sales after 1 day isn't bad at all?

More sales, downloads, streaming, pop up shops, weekend Xmas sales etc. Well on target for 20k+

That's great for 1 day as she has a lot going on today and tomorrow alone to sell more, she is guaranteed to hit a minimum of 20k for the week and it's just a case of where in the top 3 she will be but I think number 1 is looking good.

^^ I guess momentum was high last year and they wanted maximum impact from the single. I can see us getting a re-issued vinyl this year with XMAS added without much fanfare, I think they’ll just want

Nice to see support from Apple Music! A pity that Spotify appear to be being petty over the Amazon exclusive though lol, what with Hot in December not being on NMF UK.

Could this end up being a weak year for Santa Baby?

Apple Music

25 (+4) Kylie Christmas

Why is it only Spotify that have the Hot in December video???? i can't find it anywhere else?

Seen somewhere its a spotify exclusive video, probably to counteract the amazon exclusive of Xmas, and only reason they have it high on NMF in other countries 🤣

#2 on iTunes (even if sales are minimal) and the #1 artist album overall as a compilation is ahead of it.

The download is £9.99, wouldn’t be surprised to see a reduction on it if Parlophone feel it’s needed.

People probably just downloading the 3 extra songs for 99p each to be honest and add them to a previous download.

Spotify Day 1 Streams Worldwide

89,872 Hot In December

16,062 Office Party

13,980 This Time Of Year

Ouch Spotify really have said F*ck You Kylie

I really hope Hot in December is picked up and I do think Office Party and This Time’ deserve playlist positions too but perhaps they’ll be added next year and beyond.

Those Spotify opening numbers are not good. That said I don’t remember At Christmas doing ‘well’ until a couple of years post release. It’s a very congested market. Unless you’re called Laufey.

You cant force people to stream something, like she was number 3 on NMF in australia , so if thats world wide numbers 😅

My Amazon CD and Vinyl arrived. It’s a cheap vinyl though the packaging is good.

I’d much rather pay more for 180g and a gatefold…only fans are buying it so it’s not as if the Tesco mums will buy if it’s £22.99 not £29.99.

I know its already been said but as Xmas is only on the amazon exclusive versions I wouldnt be suprised if thats putting casuals off buying elsewhere

If 12k after day 1 (inc pre-orders) is correct then after just a month of pre-orders thats a great total. On Mondays total it could well be around 15-16k

Hot In December is #189 on Apple Music just now. It’s been added to their big Christmas playlists and has replaced Santa Baby.

Snatch another Top 75 Christmas hit Kylie!

Kylie Chirstmas Fully Wrapped 694k Spotify streams worldwide on Friday

Santa Baby got 285k of those

Nice if it happens or even another top 100.

Apple Music

137 (+18) Hot in December

still do not understand why the video is hidden on Spotify, especially when they are snubbing it

I am surprised she left out "Every Day's Like Christmas" but chose to keep "Santa Clause Is Coming To Town".
