It looks like the album chart rundown may be cancelled as Greg just casually mentioned Ed being the #1 album earlier when he played 'Photograph'. Album chart posts will just be posted some time after the chart show in future if this is the case. ~

For mainly the wrong reasons (three new entries aside) this chart looks very phresh at least. Shame it's not actual "chart".
I know Martin already said it but...

OMG they are actually using Thursday's midweeks!

They aren't, Petite Meller was #29 on the Thursday mids. Thursday is just a very low sales day so changes between that and Friday are minimal.

Also the 2 Weeknd songs were a couple of places higher than on Thursday if I remember well.

Let It Go  I really hope the chart isn't revised so this can keep a top 10 peak :kink:
Can't say I'm happy at this being top 10 but this situation means Birdy makes it too I can deal with it :)

I really recommend this remix of 'Let It Go', I can't get enough of it at the moment. It's AMAZING!

It works so well with a Kygo-esque tropical house transformation.

Ooh, fab stuff for James Bay that he's had two top 10s from this era now! Lovely song.

I guess we were all just expecting more of a shake up, optimistically hoping they would add the missing data.

I'll be interesting if it's mentioned by MW or OCC or use swept under the rug?

this is beyond farcical ~ if they couldn't compile the official chart in time, they should've swapped the chart of the year (so far) and this weekly countdown around instead of revealing a totally incorrect chart!
Well, this whole missing data fiasco aside ~ Good week for the charts with 5 new top 10 hits, and 4 of them are v good songs! Years & Years letting the side down :P
