I really recommend this remix of 'Let It Go', I can't get enough of it at the moment. It's AMAZING! :wub:

It works so well with a Kygo-esque tropical house transformation.

I'm really loving this remix myself;;

very Robin Schulz-esque :music:

I'm expecting this Martin Garrix album to sell VERY well if he's naming it after both Ed Sheeran albums :lol:

this is beyond farcical ~ if they couldn't compile the official chart in time, they should've swapped the chart of the year (so far) and this weekly countdown around instead of revealing a totally incorrect chart!

They couldn't do that after all the ~hype~

I expect the chart to be re-run and quietly swept under the carper (unless it affects the number 1) and that this is the reason Greg isn't saying 'down 6 places' etc.

Incredible for Birdy! Is this her highest peaking single?

I believe Wings already was her highest peaker when it first charted, but indeed it is!

A non-mover, ooh. :o

I keep picking up on new random lyrics in this each time, today being "You last 10 seconds man, you a Snapchat" :lol:

Such a bop *.*

Yes but the iTunes chart #1 still didn't make it to #1.. (on Thursday's midweeks).

Pre-orders won the battle already it would seem.

Biography

English singer/pianist Jasmine van den Bogaerde, who goes by the stage name "Birdy," was born in 1996 in Lymington, Hampshire. Precocious from the very start, Bogaerde began composing her own songs at the age of seven, and by 12 had secured the top spot (out of 10,000 competitors) at 2008's Open Mic UK, a popular live music competition that rewards the winner with a recording contract. In January of 2011, she released her first single, a cover of American indie rock outfit Bon Iver's "Skinny Love," which peaked at number 17 on the U.K. pop charts. Her eponymous full-length debut, released through Atlantic Records, arrived later that November. The record was a huge success, particularly in Australia, Belgium, Holland and France, where it shot straight to number one in the chart, while it also reached the UK Top 20. The collection of stripped back arrangements was mostly compiled of indie artists, including The Postal Service and Fleet Foxes, whose songs were overhauled by Bogaerde's haunting voice and sparse production. The follow-up to her debut presented a new phase in Bogaerde's development as her sophomore album Fire Within displayed her own songwriting talent with 11 original tracks. The album was written with help from collaborators such as Ryan Tedder (Beyoncé, Leona Lewis), Dan Wilson (Adele, Taylor Swift) and Mumford & Sons pianist Ben Lovett and was slated for release in 2013. ~ James Christopher Monger & Scott Kerr, Rovi / iTunes

So so so happy Wings is top 10 :wub: :wub: :wub: :wub: :cheer: :cheer: Such a beautiful and perfect song :heart: :heart:

'Wings' is a really lovely song, I hope this becomes a big enough hit to overshadow her previous monstrosities... probably won't happen though, even with it being her highest peaker by far (in fact it already was even before this revival).
I love Wings, I'm so glad it's got into the top 10.
