:hithead:

Omg he can’t even dodge a question successfully.

I’m still not convinced our country is intelligent enough not to vote him in though.

Leaving aside the fact the only the voters of Uxbridge and South Ruislip will be voting for him directly. Why does everyone seem to forget that they are only voting to choose their *own* MP?

Yet another symptom of why our voting system is not fit for purpose and we need to switch to PR. Yes it's lovely that everyone has their own vaguely local representative (all but guaranteed not to listen to you if you hold different views to them). In practice, most people don't care.

Besides, anyone voting Tory is indirectly helping Boris Johnson to become Prime Minister. And that's just as important as the direct votes.

Everyone does know this but only as much as everyone knows that if they vote for a Tory they’re essentially enabling Boris.

My local MP is Labour and it’s a pretty safe labour seat but thankfully, he’s also a really good mp.

Exactly - a vote for whichever party is an endorsement of the leader, their views and their polices. Regardless of the person. Unless you have an independent, whichever MP of whichever party is going to whipped whichever way the PM wants.

Exactly. If it weren't like this, common sense and the brainwashed wouldn't be screaming about not voting for their local Lab mp because of Corbyn! Just more right wing nonsense from Vidcapper.

Harry Dunn's parents urge voters in Dominic Raab's constituency to unseat him.

I'd really, really love for Dominic Raab to be unseated. What a truly awful, heartless shell of a man he is and the way he's handled this case exemplifies that.

You do realise that he's in an ultra-safe Tory seat, right? Even in 1997 they had a 27% majority!

It's true that a majority of 23,000 is going to be a mountain to overcome. But this is a case that will have had a very deep and profound impact on the local people, so hopefully it can help quite a few of those would-be voters to see sense!

He's about as likely to lose his seat as Corbyn is!
