I've finally found a copy of Garbage's debut album - it's been on my want list for ages so I'm very happy today ^_^

Since my last stunning contribution to this thread

I feel this may be better suited in the Retro forum so am moving it there!

I have pre-Ordered the remastered One Touch on record. And because I would quite like to play it, I would be very much interested in recommendations for a decent turntable from those of you who know what is important specs to have.

I have for a while had a handful of 7 inch singles:

Sugababes - About You Now (of course)

Dragonette - I Get Around: Van She Tech Dub Remix (signed)

Signed Gabrielle Aplin singles: Please Don’t Say You Love Me, Home, Panic Cord

Red Blooded Women - You Made Your Bed EP

Lily Allen - The Fear (Picture Disc)

That is the sum of my collection but with a record player and the forthcoming One Touch release Id quite like to try and pick up a few of my favourite albums on record (where they exist of course) and actually be able to play them

Im such a collector of physical media still with DVDs and CDs, makes sense to add Vinyl to the mix

Nothing that will break the bank. I defo don’t have an amp but I have a Bluetooth Bose speaker and Bose Soundbar that are pretty decent

Thank you Mr*!!!

It looks decent and I could pair it with speakers and headphones. That’s cool. Just need somewhere to put it

That’s the one I have and I’ve had no issues with it so far, although I’ve only tested with headphones as my next mission is to get some speakers!!

Urban Outfitters have a decent sale on a few vinyl atm and an extra 10% off with code SALEONSALE, just picked up the following -

Sam Fender - Hypersonic Missiles £8.10

Jamie T - Panic Prevention £8.10

Catfish & The Bottlemen - The Balance £9

Britney Spears - Glory £15.30

I picked up the recommended Sony turntable today so thanks everyone!!! Happy birthday to me. 🥰 (literally. It’s my gift from my parents this year)

I’ve been busy buying various bits and bobs of sugababes vinyl in anticipation of getting a player and of the One Touch release. As well as a couple of other things. My new additions/start of my collection is:

New from Saturn (one half of Saturn/Mediamarkt. Germany’s answer to Currys PC World)

Lindsey Stirling - Brave Enough

The Sweet - Live in Concert Denmark 1976

Second hand (all sugababes and all promos)

Round Round x2 (different versions)

Freak Like Me

Ugly x2 (different versions)

Run For Cover

Soul Sound

Mutya Buena - Real Girl (Promo)

I’ve also got some bits on order to a mix of here and my Parents including:

Mutya Buena - Just A Little Bit (to pick up on Monday from across the city)

Mutya Buena - Real Girl (Single)

Siobhan Donaghy- Dont Give It Up/Ghosts

Siobhan Donaghy - Dont Give It Up

Overload (Promo)

Freak Like Me (Single)

Little Lady Love (Promo)

So hype. Really want to get a couple of my favourite albums like Caros Deleted Scenes (saw her second one today) and see if I can find Galore by Dragonette.

Honestly. I’m deeeeeeeeep down this rabbit hole already 😬

Carly Rae‘s Emotion/Dedicated bundle has been preordered and I found Caro’s album on Amazon! Sadly, Galore was never pressed on Vinyl 😔 I will live in hope

New vinyl to my collection:

Black Midi - Cavalcade [+green flexi disc]

Kaytranada - 99.9%

Nicolas Jaar - Telas

Queen - News Of The World

Royal Blood - Typhoons [Assai exclusive blue vinyl]

Thom Yorke - Not The News RMX EP

Tori Amos has re-released Under The Pink as a limited 2 record set. It sold out immediately on her website but you can still find it in some of the independent stores if you look hard enough... not sure anyone else aside from Colm will be that interested but it's truly a wonderful album

Deep Cuts has also just been announced! Magenta vinyl

It's been on my list of ones to get for so long, and impossible to find, great to finally have it ordered.
