I'm surprised by the underperformance of Silento, the signs before release were pointing to a #1 but now it looks like he will have to settle for top 10 instead.

I'm sure it'll rise into the top 5 eventually, we are nowhere near safe yet ~

The Party doing nicely, set to reach the itunes top 5. Might not be enough to make the top 10 overall, though I still see it having a pretty respectable run

12. Silento - Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)

39. Major Lazer - Powerful (feat. Ellie Goulding & Tarrus Riley)

78. Rudimental - I Will For Love (feat. Will Heard)

You could laugh at me but I'm still not completely sold on 1D win this week. If they are dethroned from #1 in iTunes by Monday they could still just miss out.

I think they're too far ahead to fall from #1 by Monday, Sigma or anyone else would have to increase at the rate of an X Factor winner for that to happen.

What do you mean?

The video for Powerful hasn't been out for long has it? I meant that if it's now available to music tv channels then it will be reaching a wider audience resulting in more iTunes purchases...

Yeh Itust be something that's causing the rise as it's not on capital. But I thought the video was posted when it was TOTD a fair bit ago!?

I just really hope Silentó doesn't get to #1. If THAT became the first #1 by an artist younger than me...

Oh, don't worry, you'll get used to it soon enough :P

Speaking of not worrying; is there any chance that Madcon's "Don't Worry" will do well in the UK? It's doing well in many European countries, but looks like the UK pre-orders are rather low...

Jeremih is top 40 YES!!!

Keep climbing baby!!!

Very pleased for Jeremih hitting top 40. But if this "does a Ciara" and goes top 30 without ever officially going top 40, I'm going to be pissed!

It's been a long time since there's been a non-charity #1 that's contained an artist *older* than I am.

I think the last was 'Thunder In My Heart Again' by Meck & Leo Sayer in Feb 1986!

Heard this out in Croatia a few weeks back and absolutely loved it - sounds like something that should/could be huge in the UK. I'm hoping it'll just be a delayed hit rather than one of those European hits that never crosses over to the UK.
