I raced to iTunes after reading through this Adele talk and felt so disappointed when that dreadful KDA song was still sitting there @ #01

#1. Godele is back stronger, faster, Rollier than ever before. Rihanna and 1D will scream to the heavens: "Save us, oh merciless queen! Deliver us from our eternal void of writing credits and 5 hour stays at #1!"

And Godele will look down and simply whisper "no...."

Poor KDA. He fought off One Position so well and then Adele does a Wiz and we See Her Again rocketing up the charts :drama:

The song better be decent

 -_- my mind just went blank for a split second
How can you forget 'Someone Like You' missed the number 1 spot?
the song's not actually out yet anyway but it will obviously go to #1 on iTunes whenever it does get released. Possibly an official #1 contender too if it's out at midnight/tomorrow?
The hype surrounding that very minor (and pretty bland imo) clip is INSANE!
Adele single will probably get to number one as long as it's streaming, could be up against another Justin Bieber track though
The Adele clip was really good :)
Where is Ben Haenow currently sitting?

Climbed back up to 8 briefly after being at 10 yesterday but now at 9. Very tight between him and Sam Smith atm (they keep swapping)

It's quite steady. I think it will definitely rise after the video premieres tomorrow and when he gets that XF performance.

The hype surrounding Adele's comeback is similar to when Laday Gaga was about to release "Born this way" the single. She was the biggest popstar of the planet at the time and everyone thought the song would be an obvious #1 but the combination of a badly timed release and negative reactions got it to... #3 only and it failed to emulate the success of previous efforts like "Pokerface" or "Bad romance" !

I am not saying Adele won't get to #1 but we shouldn't take anything for granted in the music industry.

I hope they'll learn from "Skyfall" anyway and will release it on the right day of the week.

Given how low sales are, Adele could probably top the chart with one day of sales!

Didn't it not even manage to outsell Chipmunk too?

Yeah I think this is a different kettle of fish this time with only 50k required to realistically get #1. Adele has been out much longer than Gaga was too.

Born This Way not beating 'Champion' by Chipmunk was very amusing.

Champion is by far the better song, so justice done.

Poor Take That falling to #28 despite strong airplay and various live performances

Hopefully Take That can pick up, the boys deserve it!

hotline Bling shouldn't be so high imo

tbf that Adele track sounds fantastic and given the reaction to it I think its pretty obvious she is still a major force.

Expect an amazing impact when that single drops....

Agreed. If only Chris Brown was as good as he was on that all the time, maybe the abomination that is Ayo wouldn't exist. Oh well.

Am I the only one that finds that new Take That track a load of crap :/ I can't say I'm surprised it's falling despite the promo etc really...
