Adele - 100%.

Drake - 10%.

If he's selling like 40K per week... after his increase.. let's say even 35.. or 30K... her numbers are HUGE. And I do think she will break the Spotify numbers in the UK and US (WW also).

Calm down, didn't you also predict that Band Aid 30 were going to sell 1.3 million in a week.

The number 1 was selling around 6,500 a day so that probably indicates she's sold about 65,000 today - which is massive but not worthy of a capital HUGE

No I'm not... and this is selling like a lot, she's not too front loaded and this is HUGE and I'll use whatever capital letters as I want. Deal.

I must say, after being an avid 'chart-watcher' for many years, I am blown away by Adele's dominance on the iTunes Charts around the world. I think this is such an exciting time in music, especially to chart fans.

Don't see how months of no competition for #1 is exciting myself but it'll be cool to see some killer sales I guess after such a lull.

I really like that TFI is back and gives an opportunity for 4 or 5 prime time performances, I feel like there isn't usually enough opportunities for music promo these days.
Yes, it's almost as if there is a gap in the market for a weekly show which showcases some of the music that is currently popular.

Surely the gap is for a show that showcases music that isn't (yet) popular - that's what TFI have done here since all those songs have been around for weeks without charting, and two of them have already been and gone from the Radio 2 playlist.

Is 'Better Love' the one with the VERY SHOUTY backing vocals trying to drown her out?

I just listened to Adele's new song for the first time and it's not bad to be fair. But [unpopular opinion time] Hotline Bling would have been a much better #1 this week.

Sam Smith still gaining on Adele. Up from #10 to #5 (not combined) in less than 24 hours.

7 minutes left and she's over 23m views. She broke that record BIG!!!! And that's before the final lagging numbers. Again, just a one day notice. She's just too big. Proud. Let's see how she broke that Spotify record also today. Mark my words.
