Really hoping children in need will further help Y&Y's 'Eyes Shut' climb up the iTunes chart... Really been a bit slow climbing :/ .. They need an X factor boost :D !!

 

iTunes will update their 59p advertised batch on Friday, and 'Eyes Shut' will no doubt be included, so I think it should climb a lot next week.

Fleur East down to 79% of Adele and soon to be overtaken by Justin Bieber. Looks like we could be in for a static Top 3 next week - they are all far clear of the competition (apart from Fleur East on streaming).

Doesn't an album release also boost the sales of the current single through cherry picking? Although not sure he'll be able to overcome Adele's lead still - she'll end up outselling him by 30k or so this week once streaming is included. He might close the gap quite a bit, but then Adele's album release and promo will kick in to boost the song once again.

Yes it does - also, he'll be straight onto the B list n R1, which is sure to have an effect.

Oh that's true, they are roughly neck-and-neck on streaming this week, and Justin now at 1 on Spotify. ~22K for Adele, ~21K for Justin.

 

Adele down about 29% and Justin actually up 2% week-on-week. Certainly going to be pretty close!
