The cynicists are saying they "threw Anton under the bus" and I'm inclined to agree but I'd say that blatantly bussing him like that would have prevented rather than ensured him being in the bottom 3, it'd probably instill sympathy. I reckon he topped the vote last week anyway and I don't imagine, no mater how terrible he was

I wasn't a huge fan of Alien but I did love Seann and really like Kiera. I only really care about Louisa, 4I, Lauren and Che now, and I think I'll get bored of Che by like week 4.... Monica can do a good performance when she wants but I just don't really like *her*.

Tbh when Simon chose his overs I thought he was throwing them under the bus then. It was like he picked the worst 3 because he wanted someone in another category to win! Although people seem to be liking Max now which I wasn't expecting

Interesting theory

Not bothered about Kiera but gutted for Seann, easily one of the most interesting and talented on there. :(

I'd say they would have hoped Seann would have gone far but he probably polled bad last week and then this so no hope to turn it round. He was always going to either be hit or miss with the public.

Was I the only one that was a little taken aback by how fast Caroline announced Seann in the deadlock, either they were running short of time or she is blurted it out.

Probably under strict running order. Is the final ever Downton Abbey, so expect that probably had something to do with it.

No I was as well I missed the suspense I now know why they like to normally drag it out revealing the result  i'm guessing it was because they were running out of time.

I guess that's why the best bits were shown during there sing offs.

Yeah I noticed that and thought it was a bit strange, they definitely longed something out more than usual hence the rushing at the end.

They didn't even say who next week's guests will be either. All because of that boring overrated Downtown Abbey programme

They didn't say it last week either tbf :kink:

For anyone that wants to see Fleur East's performance again

I guess 1D will be there next week with the album out next week either live or pre recorded because they have a lot promo in america that week.

As sad as I am that Seann is gone, I can see why. He was already becoming predictable and playing it far too safe. I really hate how he was the one getting all the "IT'S TOO THEATRICAL!!!!11!!1!11111!" comments every time, when Anton is just as bad (if not WORSE) than him for doing that, but getting away with it.

Mason has far more potential as a marketable and profitable star. So I'm surprised the judges didn't unanimously vote for him, despite Seann giving the better sing off (and standard performance last night). I'm sad to see Kiera go as I really don't believe she was that bad last night. But then again, she probably wasn't the worst in everyone's rankings, but suffered from being "only" 6th best or whatever in people's rankings and not picking up the votes.

Maybe I under estimated Monica's fanbase? Ew.

Every element of Seann's performances throughout the competition (song choices/hand gestures/outfits/clarity of his voice/big money notes/longing looks into the distance) is theatrical. His entire style personifies theatre (unlike Anton...and...Lady Gaga for instance :magic:, who have other things going on) which isn't a negative except in the context of a show so geared towards finding a mainstream commercial talent. I think the 'critique' is completely warranted, especially as he's done very little to show any versatility or stray from his comfort zone.

It has irked me in the past though how the 'more suited to theatre/musicals' label is emphasised as such a negative on the show in general. I could see Seann having a very successful career in that kind of field.

As for Kiera, it's a real shame that the star quality she exuded in her first audition and subsequent rounds never translated to the live shows -_-. She reminds me of Rachel Adedeji in that way because I remember seeing such potential in her at Bootcamp and was really rooting for her to bring it again, but it wasn't to be (although of course she did go on to produce the life-defining 'Follow The DJ', so chin up, Kiera)!

Have to say the opposite (of Keira) is true with Louisa for me. Both her live show performances were outstanding and I'd never quite understood the hype around her up to that, or saw much potential. I still find her tone quite unpleasant and her vocal acrobatics don't do much for me but she's clearly a technically excellent singer, and a decent all-round performer with it. Ché's just unreal - so in control of his performance and comfortable on stage, and his voice is flawless. I feel like there's no real room for him to improve, other than to make sure to change things up a bit every week.

Other general comments/observations:

- Rita forgetting Monica's name in her intro and trying to cover it up with 'It's M..........yyy girl..........*terrified smile*' was the most entertaining moment of the weekend.

- I didn't get why reinvention week was continually deemed a difficult theme by the judges?! Seemed vague/easy to me, and it's not like 'you made it/didn't make it your own' doesn't get wheeled out at least fifteen times any other week.

- Monica's boobs.

- I actually preferred Cee-Lo Green's song to Fleur's lol. The latter was still great though and she performed the absolute bejaysus out of it. :o

I think Monica's giant boobs is the main reason she's still in the competition.

I only just heard the studio version of Mason singing Sorry on Apple Music and omg his voice is so sexy on record :/
Oh yes!! Rita's fluff up was amazing! I love when she did that awkward laugh and proceeded to say "Only joking!"
Over the moon to see Kiera gone as it was only really going to get worse and worse every week. :cheer: And even more happy that Seann's gone because it was all just so grating.
I was very disappointed with the results yesterday. Sean Miley Moore had the best performance on Saturday. His rendition of "California Dreaming" was totally perfect. What happened to British public? I thought that they had good taste. Kiera was one of my favourites before the live performances but I changed a little bit my mind in the last two weeks. It seems that Monica has a lot of haters here. However, I really like her (voice+style+boobs) and I think that she will improve in the future. She is also Greek!! Ela mori patrida!!

The people who tend to be on Buzzjack aren't the people who vote the most, which is generally middle aged women and young teenagers, more so now with the 5 free votes on the app. So middle of the road people will go quite far, along with people who could be their child/boyfriend. Which is why unless the winner is truely amazing or finds a gap in the market, the non-winners are more successful as the people who vote don't always buy the records.
