November 21, 201510 yr Those first day sales for Adele really make the comments in the itunes thread looks even more stupid.
November 21, 201510 yr Amazing sales for Adele, on course for 750k+ (It's a 2.5 multiplier for first day sales usually right?).
November 21, 201510 yr XL should put 25 on Spotify either on the 18th to help the album shift more sales during that all-important Christmas shopping week, or on 1 January so it can lessen its post-Christmas drop. I think the latter is quite sensible.
November 21, 201510 yr They don't need to put it on Spotify that soon, look how much its selling!! I think she'll wait at least 6 months like Coldplay did with their last album (I think that was 6 months?)
November 21, 201510 yr Is it possible Adele outsold all other artist albums yesterday? Looking forward to Alan Jones' commentary on Friday ...'Adele outsold the rest of the top XX artist albums combined.' Edited November 21, 201510 yr by jaynesangel
November 21, 201510 yr Another reason Adele is outselling NOW 92 is because TV channels can be bothered to advertise her album but they can't be bothered to advertise NOW 92
November 21, 201510 yr Another reason Adele is outselling NOW 92 is because TV channels can be bothered to advertise her album but they can't be bothered to advertise NOW 92 I think if neither had adverts, Adele would still be miles ahead.
November 21, 201510 yr Great sales... Not suprised at all... I said weeks ago on the predict poll we could look at 750k maybe 1,000,000 but I know that's a bit far! Amazing sales though.. And I've bought the album and there are some great tracks there... 'Water under the bridge' and 'remedy' are outstanding songs and sure fire singles! Stunning album.
November 21, 201510 yr Another reason Adele is outselling NOW 92 is because TV channels can be bothered to advertise her album but they can't be bothered to advertise NOW 92 Actually I've seen a lot more Now 92 adverts so far than I did for the previous few. In fact I think with Now 91 I had to watch it on YouTube as I never saw it on TV at all! If the ads would politely stop playing Sax though, that'd be fab.
November 21, 201510 yr Wow @ US sales, too! Sources say the set is on track to sell at least 2.5 million in pure album sales in its first week, and sold more than 900,000 copies alone through the iTunes Store on its first day of release. November 21, 201510 yr Author Another reason Adele is outselling NOW 92 is because TV channels can be bothered to advertise her album but they can't be bothered to advertise NOW 92 I've seen more adverts for now than Adele.
November 21, 201510 yr Amazing work from Adele ! The album is just fantastic and deserves to do well ! Puts one direction to shame really! Hoping when we were young performs well in the singles as that deserves to top the chart ! I'm predicting it to overtake oasis first weeks sales ! 750-800k

November 22, 201510 yr Another reason Adele is outselling NOW 92 is because TV channels can be bothered to advertise her album but they can't be bothered to advertise NOW 92 I'm pretty sure adverts are paid for by the record companies, not what the TV channels randomly fancy advertising that day!
