URGH just when you thought we were safe for one year without the x factor/charity/social media trolling of the chrimbo chart~ :nocheer:

I feel your pain, my friend :(

This new push for NHS Choir will at best have them gaining very slightly on Bieber in the mids. They still need a much bigger lead to have a chance of closing the lead he already has. The biggest download days of the week are already gone... I'm not saying it's impossible for them to still overtake but I think at this stage it's still very unlikely.

All they have to do is catch him by just 3,000 for today and the next 2 days; that's very doable IMO

I'm hoping that Justin isn't number 1 just to see the reaction of those that have put a stupid amount of money on betting because they thought it was a given that Justin Bieber would be number 1! :teresa: that'd teach you all (who bet crap loads of money)

(P.s. I'm confident JB will still win, it'd just be funny!!)

So about 0.5 for Bieber on Tuesday. Still not enough in my opinion.

More like 0.6-0.7. Bieber's only at 0.6 now late in the day. NHS Choir needs an average of 0.4-0.5 for the entire week in order to win.

Yeah I'm quite sure Justin still has it. Amazon and Google Play contribute VERY little especially as sales are now much lower.

Feeling for all who've been over confident in betting on JB for Xmas #1 :(

Everyone get streaming Love Yourself 10 times a day :magic:

But not as easy as it sounds, because Bieber has the advantage of an additional 7,000 streaming sales a day without even considering his download sales. So even if they pull back 3,000 downloads a day they're still way behind. He must be selling at a rate of 12k combined sales a day still whereas the choir have probably sold about 8k downloads today.

The Michael Buble Christmas Show is on Ch5 now, maybe lift his album up the chart a bit I hope, it's already top 5 on iTunes which is the highest it's been since last yr!
Indeed HUGE. Another 10% lead on the main version while the second one at 9 and still at 20%... so that's a big increase also. They need to keep the're lead in the next 48 hours to win... It's like 100% VS. Around 40% combined.

Combined/Weighted

NHS Choir 1.000

Justin Bieber 0.498

Pushed him down almost 10% this update. At this rate they'll be able to get to #1.

ooooo this is getting spicy, gets popcorn....

Takes the heat off Louisa at #30!

I missed my chance with Bieber, can't help but be ever so tempted now to put a bet on the choir :heehee:

Nice to have a genuine down-to-the-wire chart battle at Christmas for once though! Think Bieber's still got it tho.

FFS :drama: ~ bloody sheeple :banghead: ~ will the NHS Choir even be in the top100 next week?!

I've got 27 minutes to decide whether to put a bet on the NHS before it closes. I can't make my mind up AT all
Does anyone in this thread actually care about Christmas no.1 though? It's so boring these days. Bieber or choir? How will either outcome be particularly exciting? I yearn for the days at least 5 potential songs are released in Christmas week.

Jesus I haven't looked at the itunes chart for a while, number 30 is awful. Biggest flop of the year.

I only care at all because I have a bet on Bieber lol ~ But I hope this somehow means next year the Xmas #1 race is more interesting.

Still not sweating about NHS Choir at least until tomorrow. Everyone needs to calm it a bit.
