It didn't happen ages ago, but i think we had it yesterday morning.

In the last update 7 Years is now up to 0.84 - I think its now TOTD on Radio 1. Fast Car is also up to 0.93. I wonder if next week 7 Years will bypass Fast Car and jump to #1? 7 Years may fall back with the weekend effect though but it could end up rather close. I think Fast Car could now just peak at #2.

Fair enough if you like that Lukas Graham song, but I don't get why people think it sounds singer-songwriter. It sounds more like late-90s Europop to me.

In an ideal world I wouldn't really want '7 Years' going to #1, but if it can block 'Fast Car' from ever getting there I'd be all for it (sorry, I just really hate 'Fast Car' that much).

I think Rihanna dropped work for a couple of years (which may explain why it took 3 years to get the Album out)...

As great as it'd be I'm not sure why anyone expected Broken Flowers to be a hit :P I don't think anything PC Music related will really impact the charts

 

But re: the #1 spot I'd be perfectly fine with ZAYN keeping it past the first week (and 7 Years getting there would be nice too). Anything other than Fast Car or Work since they're both weak as piss

'7 Years' would be another pretty good #1! Although it does sound like something that will get boring when it's inevitably everywhere for months and months on end.

 

Still not sure whether to expect 'PILLOWTALK' to hold up well in the long run, I'm sure it'll manage at least similar longevity to 'Drag Me Down' thanks to streaming if nothing else. Would quite like to see it being a properly big long term hit though. It's much better than anything 1D ever released IMO.
