with this contest we pass the milestone of 20 ghost related entries in BJSC [not including those with Ghost in the artist name]. Yep that many. Most of them in the last couple of years too.

 

Higher Self/Delta Heavy/Halsey/Made In Heights and especially deadmau5 are my faves from this selection :heart:

New TRIANGLEDONIA tactic: send an entry titled Ghost to BJSC. You're pretty much GUARANTEED to do well with it. Even if I isn't that good in the ear people will still give it good points because of the title :lol:

Walking With A Ghost (the second one) is a lovely quirky song, one of my 2012 favourites I always forget about. Laura Welsh is pretty beautiful, Ghostcity is very cool these days.

 

It might be partly with how boring the title has got these days, but it's definitely not entirely that as pretty much all of those in the last 2 years aside from Pale Green Ghosts (which had a much better title by actually adding something and is quite the tune) are dull.

'Ghostcity' :heart: Tegan & Sara, John Grant and Mystery Skulls are probably my faves from the others

 

Ghost Loft is best ghost-related entry though of course

Ghosts N Stuff ofc. :heart: Sir Sly & Ghostcity were two of my favourites from that year and Pale Green Ghosts was rather cool too.

I would have voted for Halsey if it was the original and not the Lost Kings Remix. I went with Charlie because the song has aged incredibly well. Definitely Cor Lupus's best entry

Obviously my own entries - Laura Welsh was my first taste of almost-glory and remains a gorgeous song, even if it did get a bit diluted by the overproduction when it got re-done. TBH with how skewed this is inevitably gonna be to more recent entries and how famous the Deadmau5 song is, I'm gonna take this poll result as a personal victory. BYE

 

The Megan Vice song didn’t do so well but I’ve legitimately been obsessed it with it since the contest - it was my alarm for aaaaaages. Glad I’m not the only vote for it at least!

 

Laura Marling and Deadmau5 are pretty much modern classics, and As Animals is a fave from my hosted contest :wub: And John Grant too! It’s a good word for songs, evidently.

Well my fave here is not actually even my own one, it's all about As Animals :wub: Although Ghosts 'N' Stuff is of course still incredible x Thomas Azier also a massive highlght and plenty of the others have been good too ~
