There's still so much potential with Claudette, she is just brilliant, but the storyline has fizzled out, I wanted full, fast, hard revenge, but she's come back and just been forgiven by Donna. I assume more will come when she interacts with Vincent again but I feel like just having Donna turn around and forgive her like that has sort of ruined it fo the time being. It's better than not having Claudette around I guess but I think that might have been best, or Donna could have stood by her in the first place and it'd feel more right then.

They need to do something with her quickly because she's becoming a wasted opportunity. Grace Olumbumni teas.

Yeah I agree. The Mother's Day storyline was brilliant: we only heard about it two weeks prior when the advert started circling and the whole week was kept a close guarded secret, allowing us to believe we knew what was to happen in the next episode (by comparing it to the similar story that was portrayed in Corrie) but the twists and turns proved that the storyliners and DTC knew exactly how to be imaginative and prepared us for a huge revenge storyline by the end of the week.

That has been spoiled by the fact Claudette has suddenly popped back, standing in the middle of the square without a care in the world, despite Vincent's warning to stay away, and have Donna let her off quite lightly given she knows Claudette ordered Fatboy's death. With DTC now gone and SOC coming in at some point this summer, it would seem this story has been abandoned which is a great shame as well as being outright bizarre - why create a story with no intention of giving it a satisfactory ending?

I can't help but feel they rushed bringing her back to get some time with Peggy but then decided to drop most of that material anyway. I remember her looking through the window as they announced her award and Donna and Vincent having to accept, not knowing she was back. Next we see her she's talking to Donna in the market like it had been an every day occurrence. Something is way off and I smell quick script changes.

I hate when characters who aren't really supposed to be around for whatever reason just pop back right into the show's main setting as if nothing has happened! Kathy waltzing into the Arches when she's meant to be dead teas.

Even that other cafe which I assume is just down the road is a bit of an iffy spot really, anyone could just walk in or walk past given they live so close. If you were going to be secretive about it, meet somewhere a bit further away at least  If she's going to sit in the cafe with Donna, she may as well go and confront Vincent or whatever, in reality surely someone would be like "oh I saw your mum earlier" offhand to Vincent

I'd quite like Les to permanently become Christine as she's actually less cringeworthy. Good to see they've remembered Claudette in this storyline too.
I think some Eastenders storylines are a bit silly, like the black mail story of the cross dresser or even Ian Beale having a physco murdering son. But then again I still watch it

What I don't understand is that all Les has to do is allow Aunt Babe to show everyone the picture and laugh it off as a fancy dress party or something? Like why pay her?
I think it is because he knows that Pam won't be able to lie about it , it's eating her alive

!!!!! incredible

Actually coming round to Les now, for all the wrong reasons of course, such a terrible actor but it's amusing :')

I haven't watched this for some time but have Donna & Vincent done the "sexy time" yet?

thats not how it works.
