Very sorry that I didn't vote, I probably shouldn't have entered as I didn't have much time but even when I looked at the songs, I would have NO idea how to order them and it would have probably resembled something like random.org so it was probably better off me not voting.

Fantastic to get a top 10 out of all of this, I mean, I entered it on the premise that it was quite popular on Buzzjack but with so many taking part for whom Midnight City doesn't appeal to, I didn't think I'd be able to do quite that well. Thank you for all points.

 

Very lovely winner, I didn't quite vote for it in the end but it's a wonderful pop song and very worthy of representing Buzzjack, very well done Jade. And this has been well-run mods, claps for all of that.

Would've preferred Robyn personally, but Agnes was a Scandi-pop hit that actually got love outside of Buzzjack which is rare so feels appropriate for it to win. Congrats Jade! <3 I'm still quite surprised how Bad Romance did, I wonder if a lot of people thought it had it in the bag so penalised it (it's what I did admittedly), or maybe it's just not as popular anymore? Hmmm.

 

So close to being the highest novelty song but that Majela thing had to get in the way :( But that's a hell of a lot higher than I expected, and pretty much all through trickle votes :lol: thanks to everyone who pointed it! (particularly loved receiving points from Fljotavik, when Dandy* to my memory wasn't even on plug!), yess for Midnight City & Let It Go in the top 10 and Rage just outside too!

 

This was a very fun (and rather diverse) contest to take part in, thanks to all the mods for organising it :D

Congrats Jade! :cheer: This rounds out Jadakissnia's first year of BJSC if I'm not mistaken, and what a way to do it!

 

Looks like Shaggy finished in the top half which is what I was hoping for :D I'm actually very surprised at Rihanna and the Sugababes not finishing in the top half, and I probably would've preferred 'With Every Heartbeat' to win, but other than that I'm pleased with how the final scoreboard looks. Thanks to all the mods for adjusting the contest schedule for this special one, and running it so smoothly! Can't wait to get back to some proper new discoveries next month :D

CONGRATS TO JADE on getting a first win that wasn't because of a deduction for Hendinia (:kink:), 'Release Me' was definitely the one I was rooting for out of the few more obvious entries/hits but didn't think it actually had a chance to beat Robyn and Gaga! ;o Pleasing to see 'With Every Heartbeat' victorious over 'Bad Romance' in the end as well. Not a fan at ALL of 'Believe' but it is obviously a classic so kool ;o (and it was worth it for that Jay post lol). V happy with 6th place for 'Viva Forever' and top 15 for Rage Against The Machine as well. Plus Sir Newman comfortably beating The Sats. :D

 

Thought 99 Souls / Rihanna / Sugababes and ESPECIALLY Frida Sundemo would have done far better than that (what happened to 'Indigo'??? Wasn't that a fairly popular winner, and sounds like a pretty accessible / wide appealing song still, it getting as many points as Nichole337 is pretty offensive). Kinda disgusted at people actually voting for Tich. And OH at Takeo Ischi only beating my own entry by 3 points in the end, I was beginning to think that might have actually gone somewhere but nope, turns out that's pretty much the same level of largely tired out memery. :')

 

This contest was a bit of fun I guess and a nice anniversary celebration (kinda regretting not looking for a more serious entry lol) but I really can't wait now to get stuck back into the regular contests, I need those juicy new music discoveries again :o
