Posted June 23, 20169 yr I voted just now after being pushed by my partner. We can finally have a rest from this referendum after this week :drama: Just out of curiosity is anyone going to be on the beer and watching the results tonight? Edited June 23, 20169 yr by Hazza Chapman
June 23, 20169 yr Odd one out in my family. My sister and dad voted Remain, my mum almost voted Leave but decided to Remain at the last minute. So I'm the only Leave supporter  I'm starting to think Remain might win this more comfortably than originally expected. I'm seeing a lot of support for Remain on the streets of Brum today and online.
June 23, 20169 yr Author I've not been paying much attention to the referendum but which side is Nigel Farage on? I hope I didn't make the same choice as him!
June 23, 20169 yr I've not been paying much attention to the referendum but which side is Nigel Farage on? I hope I didn't make the same choice as him! Nigel, Trump, Boris, Katie Hopkins = all leave.
June 23, 20169 yr I've not been paying much attention to the referendum but which side is Nigel Farage on? I hope I didn't make the same choice as him! take a WILD GUESS  Leave Gove too, Joe. Another reason to vote remain.
June 23, 20169 yr Author Nigel, Trump, Boris, Katie Hopkins = all leave. Thank God #phew I wouldn't want to be associated with twats like them!
June 23, 20169 yr This referendum was not supposed to be about personalities! I don't really want to be associated with David Cameron but that is the price we are paying for getting to walk around with an over-inflated sense of moral superiority.
June 23, 20169 yr A worrying amount of people I know irl have voted Leave... I really hope we Remain but can see Leave edging it. :(
June 23, 20169 yr Nigel, Trump, Boris, Katie Hopkins = all leave. Don't forget that most influential of people ... the brain that is Liz Hurley!
June 23, 20169 yr yougov exit poll predicting 52% remain! Exit polls can't always be relied upon though.
June 23, 20169 yr how reliable are they? that's very close as expected so it could still go either way.
June 23, 20169 yr A worrying amount of people I know irl have voted Leave... I really hope we Remain but can see Leave edging it. :( I hope we're both wrong - but I'm starting to think it is a possibility that Leave could be the result. How horrifying to know that the bleak future of generations to come has been decided by stupid people.
June 23, 20169 yr This referendum was not supposed to be about personalities! It's not about their personalities but about their morals. I'd still vote in what I truly believe in, but it's an unsettling to buy into something people as extreme and Donald and Katie are passionate about. I'm no Cameron fan either, but there are loads of people I respect on the Remain side. I saw on the news that it's an estimated 83% turnout! :o
June 23, 20169 yr yougov exit poll predicting 52% remain! The high turnout makes me think the remain vote may be a lot higher than we had been expecting, maybe in the high 50s?
June 23, 20169 yr Author Everywhere I went today I saw people campaigning for Remain, I didn't see a single person campaigning for leave at all. Thinking about it leave seems like the slightly racist option so I'm glad that I voted remain.
June 23, 20169 yr The exit poll last time turned out to be right and underpredicted the Conservative victory. Although that wasn't a Yougov poll which apparently got it wrong last time. I'm not sure we can read too much into the poll itself but I'll take it as a good sign anyway.
June 23, 20169 yr Everywhere I went today I saw people campaigning for Remain, I didn't see a single person campaigning for leave at all. Thinking about it leave seems like the slightly racist option so I'm glad that I voted remain. It really depends where you are though. Are you in a city? Because if so it's much more likely to be remain because they're more used to diversity, have younger crowds, etc. Also, as with 'secret tories' or whatever they're called, there's probably secret leavers too.
June 23, 20169 yr The high turnout makes me think the remain vote may be a lot higher than we had been expecting, maybe in the high 50s? this is what i'm hoping for!
