June 24, 20169 yr Author It's not racist at all. The country is full and services collapsing. "We get out and start running our own country. I'd close our borders today, as they'll all flood in now before we do." ^ You're telling me this is not racist?
June 24, 20169 yr "We get out and start running our own country. I'd close our borders today, as they'll all flood in now before we do." ^ You're telling me this is not racist? Well it wasn't mean to be. If it's construed to be then I apologise unreservedly.
June 24, 20169 yr I work in VAT in a UK based centre for excellence in VAT Technology and I'm absolutely terrified for my job security, why keep VAT compliance in the UK when it's not in the single market.
June 24, 20169 yr This bitch is getting provided with literally everything by his own country. Not working or lifting a finger. And yet it's still not enough. Greedy obnoxious illiterate and dangerous stance.
June 24, 20169 yr Just got up. Went to bed at 2. Yesssssssss, champagne day. Am a very happy man. We've taken our country back!!! :cheer: :cheer: It never went away. It's been here for centuries. Are you able to come up with comments of your own, or are you just going to repeat rubbish from the Sun?
June 24, 20169 yr Poor y'all (in some literal way). I genuinly feel sorry for y'all. This will make Scotland drift away even further and with a result like this, similar movements will gain traction in other EU countries. This is a sad day for Europe. Meanwhile Putin and Trump will be laughinf their ass off
June 24, 20169 yr Unlike other Brexiters I don't think Cameron should go. He should stay until the election.
June 24, 20169 yr Has anything happened yet like do we know the result? Edited June 24, 20169 yr by Mdh
June 24, 20169 yr It never went away. It's been here for centuries. Are you able to come up with comments of your own, or are you just going to repeat rubbish from the Sun? Haven't read The Sun, or indeed any newspaper for months. Look I genuinely think we've made the right decision. Al that money that won't be going every month to Brussels can now go in to the NHS.
June 24, 20169 yr Haven't read The Sun, or indeed any newspaper for months. Look I genuinely think we've made the right decision. Al that money that won't be going every month to Brussels can now go in to the NHS. So you want to stop paying any money to farmers? You want to end all funding for scientific research? You want to withdraw funding for infrastructure projects throughout the country? That's where a large proportion of that EU money goes. That's without even thinking about the potential effect on the economy which could wipe putt any saving in an instant. All that is before you make any attempt to calculate the value of our EU membership which you have happily sacrificed.
June 24, 20169 yr Haven't read The Sun, or indeed any newspaper for months. Look I genuinely think we've made the right decision. Al that money that won't be going every month to Brussels can now go in to the NHS. None of the leave people have any power to make it go to the NHS though. Also like half of that we get back in rebates to Farmers etc, who won't give up their money without a fight. A huge chunk of that is going to have to go into establishing trade deals with 27 countries we've just told to f*** off. But don't worry "we've" got our country back. Well some old straight white men do anyway.
June 24, 20169 yr Not what I'd hoped for at all. I voted Remain as I'm sure leaving the EU can't lead to anything good in the long run. I'm pretty sure that once Nicola Sturgeon rallies For Scottish Independence again that Scotland will take it now especially with voting 62% to remain in the EU.
June 24, 20169 yr But don't worry "we've" got our country back. Well some old straight white men do anyway. This has absolutely nothing to do with sexuality. When did that come in to it?
June 24, 20169 yr This has absolutely nothing to do with sexuality. When did that come in to it? Probably the smallest point of my post, but as you're someone who wanted to leave I'm not surprised that you miss the main point in what I've said.
June 24, 20169 yr My Filipino wife voted Remain but seemingly followed her rich employers' advice and ignored mine. They say they'll leave the country if Brexit won. Why? Life won't change much at all. Doubt anyone will really notice that we're out. Edited June 24, 20169 yr by Common Sense
June 24, 20169 yr My Filipino wife voted Remain but seemingly followed her rich employers' advice and ignored mine. They say they'll leave the country if Brexit won. Why? Life won't change much at all. Doubt anyone will really notice that we're out. Of course it will change. If nothing will change, why have we just spent millions on a referendum? Thee are many companies who use the UK as their European base. That gives them access to a market of 500 million people. That market has now been reduced to 60 million, so clearly some of those companies will leave the country.
June 24, 20169 yr if life won't change much at all, why would we have even had a referendum!? I'm genuinely concerned for my future due to us leaving
June 24, 20169 yr It's not racist at all. The country is full and services collapsing. and you think this is going to make it better? Edited June 24, 20169 yr by Devan
June 24, 20169 yr f*** sake, I'm supposed to be on a school trip today but this has certainly killed the mood. When everything goes tits up with the economy, I'll be yelling from rooftops that I voted remain. I hate 'told you so' moments but on this I won't care. I've seen only one Leave voter posting on my Facebook and literally everyone else voted remain so I can take solace that I'm mainly friends with people from that 48%. It's a good job my mum has gone away for the weekend because I couldn't imagine being in the same room as her and my brother who was a big remain supporter.
June 24, 20169 yr everybody is welcome in my house if this goes tits up x Except me, I suspect. :P I think it's because UKIP doesn't have any sway here and the industrial heartlands are now in SNP control who have successfully been pushing the, correct, message that the ills of our country are because of the ideological choices of westminster rather than the EU. So it's OK for Scotland to blame it's ills on England, but not OK for england to blame its ills on the EU? This farce should never have been allowed to happen. This could have been entirely avoided by the SNPs double lock proposal that would require all 4 nations to vote out in order to leave. And how do you think the English would have reacted if their vote to leave had been blocked this way?
