July 1, 20169 yr This is turning into a complete farce now... My interest in the chart has declined massively in the last two months! Fine with a song gaining a week at #1 due to streaming, but not 9 weeks, denying three good songs the top spot! It's not even a problem with streaming itself, but the fact that Spotify are still shamelessly promoting the song :puke2: Don't want all my posts in here to be complaints though - there are many good songs in the chart, they're just not doing this well :P Edited July 1, 20169 yr by Yorkie3
July 1, 20169 yr I doubt the video will do anything actually, it did nothing for Calvin/Rihanna & in fact will mean it'll get less streaming as it'll be readily available to watch on YouTube. So... keep that vid locked tight for now!
July 1, 20169 yr Are the "Future Hits" just Joseph's favourites? :heehee: Where's Imani & Fergie? Y'know. The ones that actually have potential to be hits, unlike Joel :kink:

July 1, 20169 yr Hope he doesn't beat Wet Wet Wet's or Bryan Adams' record. At least their records were controlled by people who had to get up off their own arse to buy a song they liked Edited July 1, 20169 yr by Hadji

July 1, 20169 yr I hopein 20/30 years, there is a show that plays This Is What You Came For, Can't Stop the Feeling and This Girl before playing One Dance to show the contrast. Then the UK public will realise how stupid they were.
July 1, 20169 yr Good lord... 12 weeks! Surely the media will make a big deal of its achievements now! I still think it's incredibly average and can't understand its success but well done to him.
July 1, 20169 yr The big news of the charts in general this week is that MO finally has a solo top 100 hit to her name.... 78 with Final Song!!!!  :music: Seriously though can Drake make it to 14 weeks then fail at the last hurdle of overtaking Wet Wet Wet and Bryan pls

July 1, 20169 yr 'Somebody To You' is missing :heehee: as a Vamps fan I am very disappointed in you Joseph ;) omg!! You couldn't make that up lol. In my defence though, I used the OCC Demi page to type that up, and she is stupidly not credited on Somebody To You by the OCC, hence its exclusion :drama: I'll edit it in now x
July 1, 20169 yr 3 months at #1!!! only King Drake That record is coming :cheer: Hold on for 5 more weeks then Bryan Adams' 1991 record will be gone.
July 1, 20169 yr One dance Is so boring now! I wonder what the charts would actually look like if streaming wasn't so heavily involved - annoying, music Now is a popularity contest nothing to do with the quality of the songs, anyone can sit there and stream a song over and over its not a fair level playing field at all! Edited July 1, 20169 yr by Eva_coco_may
July 1, 20169 yr How is it not a fair level playing field? There's nothing stopping This Girl matching One Dance's streams in theory or in practice, it's just not as popular.
