August 7, 201610 yr I tjink the chart should be compiled in a different way. Yes it is a weekly chart but the sales should be taken from let's say three previous weeks. We would avoid 'blitz'es which distort chart, just because artist died is no argument to make him number one unless he sells really lot. Charts run like NEW at number one then dropping onto 28 or from TOP 40 at all - that 'comets' should be eliminated. How? Just sum three weeks of sales ahead of each chart compilation and you have the whole picture. Real hits will make number one anyway but it will be less of them Next week just cut the very last week from three week period and add recent week's sale And we will have a real picture of hits

August 8, 201610 yr Blossoms recently supported The Stones Roses on one of the recent nights at Manchester Etihad as well. If The Stone Roses release next week it could be a unique North West treble at the top in consecutive weeks.

August 8, 201610 yr Beverly Knights album is back in the top 100 :dance: I got an email saying it had been reduced on iTunes this week so it must have given it a boost - Was hoping it would scrape another week Top 75 though.
