August 17, 20169 yr I did question whether I got that right or whether I was getting confused and was just typing the fallers!
August 17, 20169 yr Drake looking favourite for the top spot in the Album chart but given the low Sales it is all to play for (wonder whether one of those Top 10 Albums will be reduced to a cheaper download price over next 24 hours). Christine & The Queens and The 1975 all ready down to £5.99 and £4.99 respectively and the highest positioned Artist Albums on iTunes Top Sellers but surely there is scope for a one day promotion for one of these Albums.
August 17, 20169 yr Oh come on Bob Marley :( Hope his label do the right thing and reduce it to 59p on Friday!
August 17, 20169 yr brilliant to see Martin Garrix comfortably inside the top 40 now, clearly going to be a big hit (perhaps his biggest non-Animals song to date?) The Chainsmokers in the top 5 already too!! Amazing progress.
August 17, 20169 yr Is the Bob Marley album rising only because of the dance remix?! It's probably helping - The physical is available for under £5 and the download seems to be £4.99 - £6.99 everywhere.
August 17, 20169 yr If Major Lazer fall on sales, DJ Snake could catch them as their streaming lead is slowly decreasing. As for the albums, I'd rather Christine got #1 over Drake
August 18, 20169 yr Fetty Wap's Album is down to £1.99 on google play and the highest positioned Artist Album on their top Sellers. Doubt it will affect the top end of the Overall chart though.
August 18, 20169 yr Shame Blossoms can't take advantage of such a low sales climate and bag themselves a #1 album.
August 18, 20169 yr Shame Blossoms can't take advantage of such a low sales climate and bag themselves a #1 album. They did, last week :kink:
August 18, 20169 yr They did, last week :kink: Oops just realised I worded that terribly, I meant get a 2nd week at #1!
August 18, 20169 yr Fetty Wap's Album is down to £1.99 on google play and the highest positioned Artist Album on their top Sellers. Doubt it will affect the top end of the Overall chart though. The weekly £1.99 Google Play album promotions don't seem to be having a huge impact on the charts TBH - Charlie Puth climbed from #64 to #41 and Lukas Graham climbed from #60 to #41 so there will probably be even less of an impact for Fetty.
