Titus falling over on his way to the ring was hilarious , the rumble match as a whole was quite fun I thought but that was mainly for the botches that happened. Disappointed that Brock Lesnar retained the Universal Championship as it will mean that we wont get to see that belt get defended regularly still.

  • That he made racial remarks in a 2015 interview somewhere and hadn't apologised for them. Hulk's last appearance for WWE was in January for their Netflix debut and he was booed enormously.

Met Lita on her UK meet and greet your on Saturday. Got to have some pics and ask her a question in the q&a. I asked if she could go back and have a rematch from anyone in the attitude era who and what stipulation would it be. I did also add she can’t choose gravy bowl as an option. She interested said Chyna, she claimed the storyline with her and Chyna was meant to go on for over 3 months so they could have different match types together. Makes you wonder if Chyna hadn’t have gone would Trish have ever been given the chance to rise up later that year.

^^ that's awesome. how lucky for two of you to have met her now. So jealous x

Also really not dealing with Rusev and English potentially splitting up right now. they are mega over

Backlash was one of the worst PPV's I've ever seen, far too many rest holds in majority of the matches and Roman Reigns pointlessly winning the main event match against Samoa Joe. The Seth Rollins Vs Miz match was the only standout match in my opinion.

I kinda agree with the rest holds stuff, but I don't agree that it was an awful PPV...

I thought it was one of the most "fun" PPVs in a while. Rollins vs Miz was outstanding. I enjoyed Nia vs Alexa (surprised at how good Alexa looked against Nia compared to WM) and I thought AJ vs Shinsuke was their best match yet (despite that ridiculous ending - since when did NO DQ's result in a countout of any sort?!?!?!)

---

Also, Alexa seems to have injured a shoulder! Obviously we have people saying "it's a work" etc.. but this will be like the 4th time Nia's injured someone, so eek at that, even worse if it's true and she's legit injured a Vince fave!

However, I think it's pretty convenient timing. I don't think I'll believe it until we see medical photos etc.. I can see it being a work coz it keeps her out of the title spotlight, without completely taking her out of it (if that makes sense) and she'll be back in time for MITB or something (where she won't do any big bumps herself ) and probs win (although I'd prefer her to win the rumble over MITB).

But yeah. Hopefully it is a work and she's not legitimately injured!

So, SO happy Carmella beat Charlotte

echo the rollins v miz match. that was the definition of incredible! apparently they had different producers assigned for the matches including the likes of Noble, Dean Malenko, D Von, Tyson Kidd and Michael Hayes. Hayes was in charge of the Roman match which did bore me somewhat and Kidd was in charge of Rollins/Miz (*.*) shows that Tyson needs to be in charge a lot more of matches as he was behind that epic match!

I actually didn't think much of the Nia/Alexa match) unpopular opinion) Alexa had some great offence especially the ring step stuff but it just seemed like a mismatch and didn't flow smoothly for me...

Carmella needs to stop SCREEEAAAMING in her matches, it's really off-putting otherwise I'm also glad she beat Charlotte. Can she please go down the line now plssss.

Shinsuke/AJ & Orton v Jeff weren't too bad either although a little slow for the latter and the tag match was entertaining but is getting a bit repetitive now.

I think Backlash gets 6.0 for me so not really bad or anything just a little above average but nothing special except for the IC Match of course!

looks like Reigns will be facing Mahal now. what a exciting match that'll be.... :/

rooting for any of the guys who qualified for MITB. I reckon they'll give Miz the win tho as they'll want to build up him v Bryan and maybe add the title Into the feud which wouldn't be a bad thing as I'm certainly more invested in Miz as I wasn't at all back in 2011. then again Balor needs some momentum as does Rusev and then Strowman should be champ already and I don't see why he's in a match of this caliber personally.

side note Mandy getting a Goldust esque entrance  all you need is to permanently keep her attire to Gold :')

WWE MITB card looking like a strong card. Do think someone will cost Ronda the women's title as it feels a bit sudden to have her first singles match be a potential title win when she's only wrestled one match on TV so far...
If someone costs Ronda Rousey the title then it will most likely be Natalya which would start a feud between those two.
  • 2 weeks later...

Which would be a solid feud for Ronda as Natayla is just the woman to help someone improve more and put on a great match up with.

The women's MITB actually looks super good this year and I'd be saying that even if I wasn't a male lol. All of them should muster up an excellent match if pulled off nicely. Embers finisher is going to be soo cool from the ladder if she has the spot planned.

Aside from that... Elias v Seth and AJ V Nakamura look like the other potential matches of the night.

I can forsee a Heel turn for Bobby Roode either at the event or after as it's blatantly obvious the turn is coming based off recent weeks!

final predictions for tonight..

Smackdown tag title match : Bludgeon Brothers

Daniel Bryan V Big Cass : I'm tempted to say Bryan again but I can see Cass cheating somehow to win. its a bit pointless to build someone up as a big heel force just to totally Bury them but then this is WWE and whilst Cass has improved a tiny bit, I wouldn't care tbh.

Lashley v Zayn : Bobby

IC Title : Hmm hard one but Im going for a retain from Rollins. I do predict Elias will win the title somewhen this year tho.

Smackdown Women's title : usually I'd have gone for Asuka but I have a feeling they want Carmella to remain champ a bit longer and the reports Of James Ellsworth could easily lead to a retain. carmella

Reigns v Mahal : Reigns

Ronda v Nia : Nia with a heel turn from Natayla.

AJ v Shinsuke : Shinsuke Nakamura (surely since its probably his last one on one title shot with Styles)

Women's MITB : The three women I predict to win are : Natayla, Ember or Alexa.

Mens MITB : Miz

Big Cass has been released by WWE. It was only 2 days ago that he wrestled Daniel Bryan at Money In The Bank and lost to him again. Both Enzo Amore and Big Cass are away from WWE now!

This has been rumoured for a couple of months, but it's just been made OFFICIAL now...

The first ever ALL WOMEN PPV - "Evolution" - is happening on October 28th!

I believe this is to make up for the fact that the women were left off of the Greatest Royal Rumble roster. I'm so, SO excited.

Grandmaster Sexay has passed away aged 46 :(

Really saddened by this </3

Nikolai Volkoff has passed away, he teamed up with the Iron Sheik and was part of a tag team called the Bolsheviks. This was back in the 1980s when I watched what was then the WWF.

R.I.P. Nikolai.

Brickhouse Brown as well passed away aged 57.

A tragic day yesterday for WWE.

R.I.P to those 3 wrestlers. I remember Grandmaster Sexay from watching WWE as a child and he provided a lot of memorable moments as part of Too Cool. It's very sad that he chose to hang himself.
Grandmaster Sexay, aka Brian Christopher, the son of Jerry 'The King' Lawler....sad news indedd on the passing of these 3 guys...
