Am I allowed to ask if Sia is #6?

No you're not :basil:

(she's #8, Calum is #6, he could well fall to #8 though with Ari and Sia overtaking)

:heehee:

He better do. The fact the top ten could look like~

1. The Chainsmokers - Closer

2. James Arthur - Say You Won't Let Go

3. DJ Snake - Let Me Love You

4. Major Lazer - Cold Water

5. Calvin Harris - My Way

6. Ariana Grande - Side To Side

7. Sia - The Greatest

8. Calum Scott - Dancing On My Own

9. twenty one pilots - Heathens

10. Martin Garrix - In The Name Of Love

..is very exciting, has to be one of the freshest top 10's of the year?

On another note, despite the huge sales drop, position-wise that's a fantastic hold up for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, seeing as their last album went 3-23.

There's a very good chance they could get to #2 again! :o If Nick Cave and Led Zeppelin sell at the same rate they did yesterday, Led Zeppelin will have only a 100 copy lead and I think they are much more likely to decrease their sales rate as the week progresses.

Funnily enough, despite this album looking to be a non-mover and the previous album dropping 20 places, both albums look set to experience a similar percentage drop of ~70% (Push the Sky Away: 23.1k/6.5k = 71.9%; Skeleton Tree: 22.9k/7k = 69.4%)

At least streaming isn't keeping Calum Scott in the top 5. If anything, it's keeping him out of the top 3. Was expecting Emeli Sandé to remain top 20 now streaming and sales are picking up for her
Meat Loaf is #9!

Doubtful, I think #12 is looking more likely for her right now, but maybe top 10 next week?

ALSO: we could be losing One Dance, Perfect Strangers AND Don't Let Me Down from the top 10 in one swoop :o The first two will almost certainly be out, and it seems to be a battle between DLMD and In the Name of Love for #10 this week, and currently Garrix has a higher daily sales figure.

Thanks

I'm never going to buy it but I'd actually be really happy if James Arthur made #1 in the next few weeks, love an unexpected hit - especially when it feels against all odds.

If it weren't for streaming Calum Scott would have spent 11 weeks in the top 3 and had a number one peak. So thank god for streaming

I am exactly the same :yahoo:

I would like it purely so it would silence Olly ' I hate streaming - it's so unfair ' Murs.

that gaga drop is actually remarkable lol

knew it'd drop but that's just crazy. some sorta record coming up for this no?

Loads of songs have made MASSIVE DROPS like that in the chart, but I believe this is the biggest chart drop for a song that reached #1 on iTunes since Bring Me The Horizon...?

Massive flop as much as I love it :,(

This is actually quite standard for a fanbase act in week 2 really! I'd hoped it would hold up better but it's far from over at this stage. Rise actually fell 43 places in week 2, and that made the iTunes #1!

According to experts Ellie Goulding was supposed to rise dramatically this week

Looks like Adele II is arriving to no 1

You're not going to let this go are you :,)

As much as I hate to admit it, so do I. At least the song isn't that bad. I don't like it enough to buy it either but JA definitely makes a change from the Bieber and Drake domination.

Alunageorge album position is shocking, i wanted this to do so much better. Huge drop for the wonderful KT Tunstall this week (this was expected)
