But its position of 48 is decent - if sales were higher they would still be selling that much - like if Orson released in 2011 it would have sold more than 17k copies.

Perhaps that this is his ode to how he feels about this time on The Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls.

31. The Kooks- She Moves In Her Own Way

34. Kings of Leons- Walls

If you consider selling 474 copies in 24 hrs 'very well', then yes.

To be fair the fact that Travis have managed to sell that in 24 hours is an achievement in itself - they are hardly at the height of relevance and if it done that amount over 7 days that's over 3,300 paid for sales in a week, probably about 80% more than I would expect a post album single to be selling by a band that have not had a chart hit since 'Something Anything' reached the dizzying heights of #113 in 2008 following up the #115 smash 'J Smith'

32. Kings of Leon - Walls

36. Chase & Status - All Goes Wrong (feat. Tom Grennan)

59. Green Day - Still Breathing

64. Teddy Mac - The Songaminute Man - Quando Quando Quando

82. Keane - Tear Up This Town (Orchestral Version) [From "A Monster Calls"]

100. Yelawolf - Daylight

145. Bon Jovi - Labor of Love

152. As It Is - Okay

183. Michael Buble - On An Evening In Roma (Sotter Celo De Roma)

220. 2Play - She's Got That Vibe (feat. Christian Jules)

397. JoJo - FAB. (feat. Remy Ma)

443. Mount Cashmore – Love You More

695. Armand Van Helden - Wings

960. Sting - 50,000 (New Version)

962. Nevada - The Mack (feat. Mark Morrison & Fetty Wap)

Well, that's probably just 88% of those people buying the new one too

It's just the same in radio - apparently the reason Calum Scott hasn't been playlisted by Radio 2 is because no one has "presented" the song to them. Why they wouldn't play it anyway beggars belief. Apart from it being shit of course, but the point is it's a massive hit and perfect for their playlist so why aren't they playing it?

Can I just point out that I listen to Radio 2 and I think it's shit as well? I always thought it was young people who liked it.

Radio 2 has always been the "older" station I thought.

Starboy in dark red :(

Noooooooo :( I know it could most probably be having a slow start but nearly every song I've loved this year has done nothing in the charts. To be honest though I think 2016 is a terrible year for pop music, especially compared to 2009-2013. The list of #1's is abysmal bar 'Pillowtalk'.

I've never heard this Rise Up song but just checked it out, it's amazing. How was it not a hit?!

I've loved it ever since she performed it with Ellie Goulding at The Grammy's. I think it has done quite wel in the US, sales wise anyway.

Just not getting why this won't do well. I suppose it needs to be used on an advert and then it would start to do well.
