January 26, 20178 yr Thread was opened 2 months ago and we got... can`i say nothing but mediocre song.
January 26, 20178 yr Didn't take long, already obsessed with this. Reminds me a lot of 'Work' and I'm pretty sure there's no higher praise to give, coming from me :')
January 27, 20178 yr Had a party tonight and everyone was moving but Zara's new single and Scared To Be Lonely went down a lot better, but it seems to be doing better sales wise.
January 27, 20178 yr Im sorry, but Nicki Minaj, the real one, is actually way better than this impersonator. This impersonator annoys me, whereas Nicki Minaj is the female version of Lil Wayne, so kinda listenable for me.
January 27, 20178 yr I do agree with others that this is a little underwhelming, with the names involved it had the potential to be as exciting as Lean On ans Light It Up. I know it's obviously not the sort of vibe they wanted with this song but if the drop/chorus was a bit more exciting like those tracks then this would be so much better. As a Nicki fan, I massively enjoyed her rap part but it feels like the rest of the track is a bit of a chore to listen to even though it has the potential to grow. Yay at #Nicki4 being hinted though, I am perched indeed.
January 27, 20178 yr Well I rather like it on first listen has room to grow shocked at the negative reaction
January 27, 20178 yr This is alright but it's way too laid back for a Major Lazer and Nicki collab. I was expecting something like Hold The Line. I wanted something that went harder. Hey Mama was almost there but that lacked a proper drop as well. It's surprising how few bashment tracks Nicki has in her repetoire considering her heritage and dancehall gaining popularity again.

My thoughts too. I actually like the track a lot, but it's not as commercial as some of the recent Major Lazer hits. I was certainly expecting something a lot harder and less mid-tempo.
January 28, 20178 yr Major Lazer's most listenable song by far for me (probably coz they don't have the screeching Mo on the track!) Really like this. I can see myself tiring of it pretty quickly though, but for now, I'll enjoy it!
January 28, 20178 yr This is totally underwhelming :( Boring chorus and Nicki's part isn't particularly great either. Hmm...
January 28, 20178 yr Not surprised at some of the negative comments, as has been noted its not the most commercial Major Lazer song. An earworm of a chorus though and I love it!
January 28, 20178 yr Lyric video here: LKroRc-gZVA I'm basically going to say the same about this as I did with Shape of You and Zara Larsson's So Good - The beat is nice enough but you spend the whole song waiting for a drop/kick that doesn't show up :(
January 28, 20178 yr Nothing really standout about it all really. I didn't go in with high expectations as Major Lazer tend to be very hit & miss. I can't see this being a particularly big long-running hit.
January 29, 20178 yr This is amazing  Can't remember the last track PARTYNEXTDOOR featured on that I didn't love.
January 29, 20178 yr Because I was expecting something more manic due to Major Lazer/Nicki, the first listen was a bit disappointing. But now I'm really enjoying this for what it is, though I don't see myself going wild for it like a Light It Up. Better than it's being given credit for here though!
January 29, 20178 yr This could well end up being my second favourite from them after Cold Water. I am loving it SO MUCH :music:
