Jo Cox's Friends are doing better in the odds, I imagine they'll get more media attention too as the murder of Jo Cox was one of the year's most tragic stories.

I would rather this got to #1, it's got a meaning behind it and obviously where it happened isn't that far away from the city I live in.

Well Louis hasn't exactly rocketed ahead! It's nowhere near 'Pillowtalk' quality. Very generic and average song but it was admirable of him to perform last night and hold it together.

The verses are good, its just the drop that is very disappointing, it needed something bigger and more euphoric after the verses.

Zaylor down to 0.5138, Clean Bandit to 0.4860

Niall up to #40!!

:cheer: :cheer:

Louis probably rising faster due to XF repeat?

Partially but it's never really stopped increasing rapidly, everything slows down overnight because people are in bed :heehee:

I really can see streaming blocking the charity single.

Will be interesting to see the #s for the #1 this week. If a charity song picks up it may only need to sell 90-100k copies (perhaps less) which is doable considering charity songs can build momentum very quickly.

Of course we have Mariah in contention this year too *_* So will be a very interesting Xmas chart with all these new releases!

Wow so Louis will be no1 this week and Xmas no1 I would say??

Not sure if the charity records will do much - will be interesting when XF is thrown into the mix tonight!

Surprised Year and Years by Olly isn't higher in the chart - he seems to have performed it everywhere over the last week - interesting to see his album totals in tomorrow's mids!
Yeah I think we could have a normal Christmas #1, as in just a chart song rather than charity or XF. Streaming has just gotten even bigger and Friends Of Jo Cox isn't something that people will stream. It would have to have like colossal sales which would be pretty random in this sales climate.
I think it all depends on Louis' streams. If he manages to debut at #1 or top 3 on Spotify then he's got a massive chance, but I think we'll see a SALES top 6 of Louis, ZAYN, Little Mix, X-Factor winner, Hospices, and Jo Cox's Friends regardless. I'm kind of leaning towards Jo Cox's Friends right now, with Louis at #2 and the X-Factor winner at #3, but I'm changing my mind so often right now.

Highest versions benefited from 59p!

Elton John at 55, East 17 at 85, Wizzard at 95.

Louis is nowhere to be seen on Spotify at the moment

Louis is nowhere to be seen on Spotify at the moment

As has already been explained by myself, Louis isn't in the charts because he was took down at the time of the cuttoff point for todays chart, meaning his streams could not be counted at the time due to the song temporarily not existing on Spotify.

Is it worth putting a wager on Louis ASAP?

I'd go for it! No certainty he'll make it but if you can get some good odds you might as well snap it up.

Why on earth would she do that?

Probably because it has more mileage in it as a single after Christmas as it's not very Christmasy at all...

How fast do we expect Matt Terry to get to iTunes number one then?

I think less than an hour if it really is going to be an original song. Though Louis has a big lead at the moment so it may have to wait until tomorrow morning.
