Posted January 3, 20178 yr Sound of the Underground No Good Advice Life Got Cold Jump RANK THEM 1. Sound of the Underground  2. Jump 3. Life Got Cold 4. No Good Advice (I expect I'm alone in this but I don't hate it at all! however it's definitely the one I revisit the least)
January 3, 20178 yr Sound of the Underground No Good Advice Life Got Cold Jump The first 2 singles are amongst my favourites of all time. I often forget about 'Life Got Cold', but it's a lovely song, and 'Jump' is a solid cover, but nothing mind blowing!
January 4, 20178 yr 1 Sound of the Underground 2 Jump 3 No Good Advice -- 4 Life Got Cold Admittedly don't really recall Life Got Cold, but it can't have left enough of an impression like the others. Sound of the Underground is one of their very best, a well deserved classic. Jump is a fun cover and I have a lot of love for Love Actually which helps to elevate it and No Good Advice is pretty fierce.
January 4, 20178 yr 1. No Good Advice 2. Sound Of The Underground 3. Jump 4. Life Got Cold Adore all four tbh what a strong era
January 5, 20178 yr 01. Sound Of The Underground 02. No Good Advice 03. Life Got Cold 04. Jump All 10/10 though, they really got the singles spot on for this era, I know it was planned but I can't imagine 'Some Kind Of Miracle' actually being a single.
January 5, 20178 yr 1. Sound Of The Underground 2. No Good Advice 3. Jump ------ 4. Life Got Cold I've never cared for Life Got Cold, but Sound Of The Underground and No Good Advice are two of the best songs they've ever released and somehow still sound strong in 2017, more so than many singles they released much later in their career. Jump is also great fun aswell, obviously.
January 9, 20178 yr It's pretty clear for me that 'Jump' is the worst of the four but the other 3 are really, really, really good. Nadine is really killing it on 'Sound of the Underground' and 'No Good Advice'. 1. No Good Advice 2. Sound of the Underground 3. Life Got Cold 4. Jump
January 12, 20178 yr 1) Jump 2) Sound of the Underground 3) No Good Advice 4) Life Got Cold Ranked just from the top of my head, but I can't see the order being anything but, even if I did re-listen. 'Jump' may be a cover but it's probably the Girls Aloud song that holds the biggest nostalgic value for me and brings back most memories from my childhood; one of the few songs that can really transport me back to that time. Nadine steals the whole show and I can remember having a huuuuuge crush on her in the video. The respective lyrics of "you're so excited, I can feel you getting hotter" and "then make a move before you try and go much further" were such killer deliveries. I also love the production at the very start and the very end, plus Kimberley's lower vocals in the middle-8. The video, as well as being such Nadine-eye candy, was just so fun to watch with them running around what we're led to believe is 10 Downing Street and I always thought the film inserts were really clever when I was little. 'Sound of the Underground' is clearly a classic and deservedly so. Completely shat on the format of what a winner's single should be; strange this never caught on but I suppose it makes this song all the more special. Adore the edginess yet it still feels like a perfect pop record. Even though some of the members are used less so than others, I still feel all contributions are essential - even Nicola with her mere "then its drops and catches like a fire" could not be sang by anyone else in my books. Another that holds strong nostalgia. 'No Good Advice' has really strong verses; Nadine really is the highlight yet again there. The chorus is ever slightly on the weak side nowadays but I think that's more for the killer verses opposed to genuinely being weak. 'Life Got Cold' definitely seems to remain an underrated song, even by myself as I find it still places in the lower regions of their singles discography. I suppose I just never had a moment with it, but I can appreciate that, objectively, it should be one of their best ballads. I still definitely love it though, no doubt.
July 2, 20178 yr 1 Life Got Hold 2 Sound of The Underground 3 No good Advice 4 Jump ^^ I'm not mad about any of them though, sorry. I've only played the album for the first time today, and Don't Want You Back was the standout track for me.
