A post-album Nathan Sykes single smashing is about as unlikely as the fifth single from Atomic Kitten's debut going to #1. But these things happen so good on Nathan!

 

Also, Lupe Fiasco relevant enough to get an iTunes top 50, who knew? Or maybe it's because of the feature from rising star Gizzle, who I've only ever heard of before providing the verses on Delta's glorious 2016 single Enough <3

I'm more surprised that "L'amour Toujours" hasn't been sampled and made into a hit song yet, a tropical house reworking of that could definitely work.

 

Speaking of almost UK hits, Lupe Fiasco's own 'The Show Goes On' only made #49 here despite being a US #9 hit, and 'Battle Scars' was an Australian #1 (helped by it featuring Guy Sebastian who's very popular there) but never got pushed here - that would've been big if it had I think.

I don't mind deep house, but we had too much chilled house recently in the form of tropical and minimal, and are in need of some livelier forms I think, which is why if The Duke comes back I would like to see some more lively house like Ocean Drive.
