Do me Be The One has always sounded like a hit to, it's a little less "generic" than Hotter Than Hell, but I still think the uniqueness of this could make it her biggest so far, especially given it's still very accessible.

I think a lot of people who listen to music would know Hotter Than Hell, but not her :lol: So yeah I wouldn't say she's a huge star yet, she just had a fair sized hit.

I'm sure some people would recognize her music but when people put her in the same bracket as Jess Glynne they are miles off.

 

Sure her two tracks are doing well on iTunes atm but thats it. They are both 59p and the steaming is still nowhere on her own track and just doing OK for the Seam Paul track.

"Be the One" is currently at #93 on Spotify UK. It was at #152 yesterday.

I think Dua is doing well at the moment but to say she's becoming a big star is definitely an exaggeration.

 

For her to be at #04 she's probably looking at around 20,000 sales or there about and seeing as she's not been there all week, I would probably predict more along 15,000-16,000 sales for the week. She is definitely looking like she will get another top 20, the same as 'Hotter Than Hell' but with sales so low it's hardly some massive hit. Also, I don't really think people are buying 'No Lie' due to her as an artist, I think they like the song regardless of who the female pop vocalist is.

 

Having said that, I hope 'Be The One' can help her on her way to really getting her name known and it can start smashing on streaming so she does have a big hit on her hands. It would be really lovely.

Be The One will be top 10 next week. I'll move to UKMix if it isn't.

Although it's a big boost, it still isn't great. No doubt she will increase her streams but at this point in time, it isn't a genuine hit yet.
