Omg :wub: Can't wait to give this a listen in the morning, very excited!

I just can't see what makes Tinashe special or outstanding, there's numerous vocalists that could've done All My Friends and it would've had the same success. Her popularity amongst online music forums has continued to baffle me and I'm not surprised she hasn't translated that online hype into actual success with the general public.

 

She has a nice voice, it's pleasant to listen to but hundred of other artists are pleasant to listen to too. I've never seen her perform live so maybe she has the X Factor when performing, but on studio songs she's just nice.

Try not to judge it solely on 'All My Friends', as that isn't what she's about at all and is a far cry from what she's capable of.

So I've decided that I love Play That Song. It's so cheerful and cute and infectious :wub:

It's the type of music for me that grabs me with Tinashe. There are a lot of dull R&B females who do that sort of thing but Tinashe just captures the whole sound better than anyone since Aaliyah imo and it sounds so fresh again. I do think though if she does smash and break through as a solo artist, she'll probably do an Ariana and have a more pop sound. Player was an indication she can do that just as well as R&B, she has such potential and star power!

Been a Train fan for years and I must say I wasn't expecting them to have another hit, their music quality has been rapidly dropping and Play That Song sounds awful to me! :lol:

Drive By and Hey, Soul Sister were inoffensive MoR but this one is just awful, and that's just from me hearing the chorus as I can't bring myself to listen to the rest of it (I'll wait until it gets played on the chart show)

Hopefully it gets pushed on Spotify :wub: and a 59p price reduction

The Train song is catchy! It's not quite to the standards of 'Drops Of Jupiter' (I doubt it will be, this is one of the greatest ever songs), 'Hey Soul Sister' or 'Drive By', but it's still enjoyable.
