Steps is the perfect antidote to Ed Domination.

I am flabbergasted to see Steps at #1 :o I know this comeback was attracting hype but I thought that would solely translate into album sales. I was never a huge fan of their old material (minus 5,6,7,8 and Tragedy being school disco classiques x) but this new song of theirs is actually quite good. G'won!

I'm the opposite, those are the two I absolutely cannot deal with under any circumstances. Deeper Shade of Blue and Say You'll Be Mine are my favs.

Not only that, I'm pretty sure the only bands to have #1 singles in 3 consecutive decades are Take That (though the 3rd decade doesn't have all members) and The Bee Gees. If anyone knows of any other band let me know!

I'm the same 5678 and Tragedy and their worst songs but they do have some great pop songs though!!

Omg, first time checking iTunes today with the new releases and Steps at #1?! *_* I'm here for them getting a surprise hit. Hopefully the fact they got to #1 will give more hype to the song. Would love them to debut top 10 or even snatch the #1 position from Ed.

The Steps song is horrendous to my ears BUT I love the fact that it's very different to everything else in the chart and that a group from 90s can get to iTunes #1 in 2017.

Although I wish it was All Saints getting this #1 spot with their splendid comeback last year. :(
