Hmm.. I'm disappointed because it's not the sort of direction I was expecting. However, after the initial disappointnent wears off, I can see it growing.

Very different and could work out for the best, just like how 'Move' worked out for the best for Little Mix or something!

Yeah half of the first listen I was kinda like wtf is this, but the more listens I have the more I'm convinced it'll smash. I think it's much better she comes back like this than with something really generic because it can often take something a bit different to elevate a career to the next level.
Oh, I actually love this. It's so much more instant than 'It Ain't Me', which grew to be one of my songs of the year. How and when did I become a Selena Gomez stan?
I enjoyed this more and more over the course of the first listen, after the initial "wtf" factor was gone. Can see it becoming one of my songs of the summer

I like the idea of the talking verses but I'm not entirely convinced her delivery can really pull them off.

Ends up feeling a bit limp.

I knew it sounded familiar!

This isn't as bad as people are thinking it is! Real potential for growing, doesn't sound too generic, honestly that's all I could ask for.

Well it's...different. I'm not sure what to think of it yet, but it's a bold single choice for sure and fair play to get her for doing something so different to anything else. Reminds me aloud Alanis Morissette in some ways.

I got a few Alanis teas from this too.

Such an earworm, love this

It sounds like it could have been on a Girls Aloud album in 2005, or one of the weird Britney tracks she does occasionally.

So I love it.

I listened to Radio 1 this morning and I didn't get the sarcastic tone at all.

They sounded more surprised than anything, like speechless in a way. Fiona genuinely liked it I think, Grimmy was just more shocked than anything (at least that's what I made of it).

i loved this the moment she sang "you're taking up a fraction of my mind"

Rumour has it she has a collab with The Weeknd, which is written by Ryan Tedder and Nicki Minaj and produced by King of Pop Max Martin!

PUMPED FOR THAT! :o

I've listened to this a few times and I quite like it! I didn't have any expectations or hopes for what direction she'd take (I didn't even realise she was about to drop new music) so I thought maybe that was why I wasn't sharing the same, underwhelmed response as people here but, on second thoughts, does this not just sound very similar to the music of her last album? Specifically 'Hands to Myself'?

Could a description sound anymore enticing than that?! :o
