West Brom are now 10 points away from safety having played a game more than most of their rivals after losing 2-1 to Bournemouth. Their relegation will probably be mathematically confirmed in April. The other 2 relegation spots could be decided on the final day of the season.

I still think at least one of the relegated teams will be one that has so far spent very little time in the bottom three. I can see someone dropping below the line close to the end of the season.

Would be a shame to see Huddersfield go down, it's been good to see one of the local teams in the Premier League (even if most of the people I know think otherwise :P )

There's still a long way to go yet. It's so hard to tell too as teams that are safe and in no-man's land will start switching off soon in typical end of the season fashion.

Personally I reckon it will be West Brom, Stoke and West Ham right now, but that could easily change. Stoke and Huddersfield have bad goal differences and all have to play a couple of the top teams again yet.

I want all the promoted teams to survive as I believe it will only be the third time in PL history that has happened & first since 2011/12.

Hopefully get rid of the deadwood [of which I'm referring to the 3 teams currently occupying the relegation zone].

After accidentally re-discovering my Year 6 project on Stoke City FC, I've decided I'd quite like them to stay up as well.

Even if they stay up this year, it won't be long until they go down. They've had terrible recruitment for the last 4 transfers windows and have not solved their biggest problem - regular goals. I think all the teams near the bottoms have bad run-ins apart from Crystal Palace so I suspect it might be a case of who can upset the Top 6. Realistically as well, Man City/Arsenal/Liverpool priorities are more likely to be in Europe rather than domestically so that can impact things massively too.

Who would you say is the best player outside of the top six clubs?

Difficult one really, I don't think there are too many quality players outside of the Top 6.

Would probably say Mahrez, Vardy, Ndidi, Doucoure are the ones that could play for Top 6 teams right now. I really like Lacelles as well, Newcastle look so much better him.

Going by the Fantasy Football statistics Mahrez is highest ranked player from outside the top six and I would personally agree with that. Brighton player Grob (not sure if that's the actual spelling) is next on the list, Nick Pope the Burnley goalkeeper is 3rd and is the 3rd highest ranked goalkeeper out of all the keepers in the league.

I think players like Maguire, Pickford & Glenn Murray would be honourable mentions as well.

The problem with these players is they're like a false economy, often propped up by a great system. Most would struggle in a top team, it's hard to make the transition. For example look at Michael Keane.

Personally I find Pickford massively overrated, Butland is a better keeper but his confidence seems shot.

Mo Salah has scored just 3 less PL goals this season than Danny Welbeck has in his entire Premier League career.

I was wrong there with West Ham.

Do people think Man City will wrap it up next weekend?

I have a feeling that they will, there's a certain feeling of inevitability surrounding City at the moment. I hope they don't do it next week but ultimately it wont make much difference. I can't wait for this Premier League season to end, the battle to avoid relegation is the only thing keeping it alive in my opinion.

You would expect they will, be I also suspect Man City will also not be too bothered about wrapping it up and you would expect Mourinho to do all he can to not lose.

City have been good this year but no way will they run away like they have this year imo.

I’d rather they didn’t wrap it up against us, only because their small minded fans are insufferable enough as it is

Rom summed our match up really well when he spoke to MUTV. Great first half, great intensity, great pressing. Half an hour of really superb football. Then the second half was utter dull dreich
