Pushed Despacito down to 10% with the Video premiering before Corrie could gain even more :o

Amazing single though, Loads of people I know never download anything and have downloaded.

It's so well put together in just a couple of days, one of the best charity singles in a long time IMO.

Agreed. Also people always say "oh why doesn't Simon just donate, and the artists" etc 1) i'm sure they do 2) this raises awareness, keeps it in the media, and gets others donating which may not have (or already have) this is for charity and it can only be a positive thing.

BOTW is a great charity single. And Leona sounded absolutely gorgeous in those 5 seconds. :kink:

lol  just seen the gap between #1 and #2.

Love to know, which part of the track the artists are singing, with so many artists on the track.

Such a huge lead :o Video yet to premiere as well. This'll easily be #1 in this week's chart imo. Will likely get news coverage for the 6 and 10 o'clock news slots as well.
I think at this stage, it'll be VERY close between Despacito and Bridge Over Troubled Water for #1.

 10 Calvin Harris - Feels (feat. Pharrell Williams, Katy Perry & Big Sean)

^ good progress so far, hoping this'll be a big hit and convince Calvin to carry on with this sound *.*

 65 Arcade Fire - Everything Now

^ astounded this has held up so well!

Totally random question but has the charity single caused anyone featured on it to get a boost

I like the 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' cover. I like how much they've switched it up in comparison to the straight covers that have been churned out in the past. It's nowhere near the levels of 'Just Stand Up' or 'Hands (Song For Orlando)' in terms of ensemble charity songs. But it's nice enough and will do the job.

Not gonna lie though, pretty sad that Little Mix aren't on it, when so many other Cowell related artists are.

1 Artists for Grenfell - Bridge Over Troubled Water 1.0000

2 Luis Fonsi - Despacito 0.0818

Selling nearly 13 times as much as Despacito after just 8 hours of sales, that's VERY impressive. Would be very nice to see it at #1 this week!

Yeah I was surprised myself they must be impossibly busy to not feature at all little mix

Despacito is selling roughly 7k per day on iTunes so...

7k x 13 = 91,000

So it should have sold roughly that by tomorrow at 8.

Despacito does have a second version. Currently stands like this:

1 Artists for Grenfell - Bridge Over Troubled Water 1.0000

2 Luis Fonsi - Despacito 0.0913 (combined)

Recently had another dark green update. About an hour or so until the video premieres.

Video for BOTW getting aired tonight on ITV1 at 7:25PM ( before Coronation Street ), a prime time airing should maintain the momentum.
George Ezra performing on "The One Show" tonight, much needed boost, may be enough to secure a Top 75 placing this week?
I would actually quite like to see the Grenfell single hit #1 this week, never thought it had a chance (I actually was kind of expecting it to go the same way as the Jo Cox single, the concept of the charity single seems to be on the resurgence with this and 'One Last Time'!) but with this massive a lead it could well do it.

91K in the first day?! So It's sure gonna be number 1. No?
