Yungen Top 40! Amazing considering I haven't heard it outside of 1Xtra, but the YouTube views are pretty high.
I wonder how Selena's Fetish is still top 30. :o It's only #46 on Spotify and #56 on iTunes.

Will never happen, she's too lazy. :P

I am surprised Little Mix are holding 8th. I had them slipping outside the Top 10 with Friday/Saturday figures. Has their track been discounted or have I missed something?

Also wow at French coming back to take 3rd for another week. That looked impossible on Saturday.

Oh Wonder at #6 is wonderful news, I wonder how close they are to making the Top 5.

I'm very curious about today's midweeks, but I expect a retrieval of Despacito  Sadly for DJ Khaled & Co...

Thanks to the news about the streaming-record yesterday <_<

I would prefer to see Despacito hold the number 1 than the awful Wild Thoughts achieving number 1 status.

Why no Coldplay? Someone please explain to me? EP not eligible?

Explained in page one.

The rule is 25 minutes or four or more songs where the EP doesn't qualify as as a maxi-single (four tracks plus remixes or alternative versions of the 4 tracks). However the album must have a dealer price of £3.76 or more. On price grounds it would make the EP ineligible for the Albums chart as it is selling for £3.99 unless iTunes is almost giving it away for free... and it won't count as a single either as it has 5 individual tracks.

Edit: I should read the thread to the end before answering as other forum members have made the same post about the 25 minutes / 4 tracks rule! However the price rules should make it ineligible as it's not a physical release (if it was, it would qualify for the Budget Albums chart though only the physical sales would count on price grounds).

Agreed. I wouldn't be surprised if the song stays at the standard 150:1 stream ratio based on the large influx of extra sales it has got lately. I am actually hoping it has gone passed the 50% increase in sales threshold needed to keep the standard ratio. It is clearly the most popular track out right now so deserves to stay #1.

I think by this point with one dance, it was at the bottom end of the top 10 sales chart so clearly not most popular on all formats at that point.

Problem is a 50% increase is borderline impossible here

If despacito did 70k last week

It needs to do 70+35=105k

Why you guys are crying over a song that spend what, already bazillion weeks at #1...as much as the new rules have own flaws, I still think it makes much more sense in a big picture!!!

Now there's an idea CAMPAIGN TO KEEP DESPACITIO AT NUMBER 1 for a bazillion weeks

At this rate it may as well be #1 for a bazillion weeks. Will probably be in the official chart until Christmas and then back again in the new year for another 2 months.

On another note, 'Despacito' could very easily overtake Mariah Carey's US Chart record as it's spent 10 weeks at #1 so far and still going strong.
