Sales are lower than when Wake Up was released (that was deep into Q4), so hopefully that means it won't drop quite as badly as that did.

It's being heavily advertised by ITV at the moment, especially ITV1 during Good Morning Britain.
July 17, 20179 yr I never thought of seeing the Vamps grabbing a #1 album, those sales practically cements it. I'd say their performance on the Voice Kids live final will have helped a lot this week.
July 17, 20179 yr Good week to release for the Vamps with summer holidays starting!Don't remind me about the school holidays! I live opposite a largish field which surrounds a number of houses. Give it two or three weeks of the school holidays and the place starts to swarm with kids playing football, hitting windows as they do so. I've nearly had mine put out several times. And then they all start fighting with each other... so while I hope we have a lovely hot August it could be a case of roll on September...
July 17, 20179 yr The Vamps on track (looks certain) to achieve their first ever number 1 on the UK chart (singles included). I would fear for the massive drop that it will suffer next week. The charts for the the first time in a while feel fresh this week, lots of movement in both charts which is welcoming. Joe McElderry, it would be wonderful if he can retain his top 10 position and achieve a 3rd top 10 album, disappointing drop for Lorde this week after such a steady few weeks to start. Good to see bands like Arcade Fire and the Killers climbing on the chart this week and Little Mix looking likely to be top 10 in both charts again this week. I had hoped to see Steps on the album chart somewhere but its looking unlikely for this week :cry:
July 17, 20179 yr Joe McElderry, it would be wonderful if he can retain his top 10 position and achieve a 3rd top 10 album, disappointing drop for Lorde this week after such a steady few weeks to start. It'll be his fourth top 10 album. Wide Awake (#3), Classic (#2) and Here's What I Believe (#10) all made the top 10 while Classic Christmas wasn't far off (#15). If it holds up, that is. He's done pretty well for a former X Factor contestant, especially a male winner.

Well mostly because he was such a success on popstar to operastar Oh oh btw 23 weeks till Christmas since someone mentioned his classic Christmas album
July 17, 20179 yr So does anyone know how the OCC are treating the Coldplay EP? Is it on the budget chart or has it had its sales added to something just like this? I would have assumed if it was treated as a normal album, or single it would have shown on one of the chart updates. Very happy to see Galantis scraping the top 100 update. Really hope it becomes another hit for them.

I think Popstar To Operastar really saved his career. If he kept trying to release pop music he'd be nowhere now but him constantly being on reality TV and appealing to the Mums is proving to work.

And then they all start fighting with each other... so while I hope we have a lovely hot August it could be a case of roll on September... :lol: I'm the opposite the buses are a joy to get into work with plenty of room - come September they fill with annoying kids who don't even pay on but take up all the seats. Plus the roads are far busier as spoilt children are lifted and laid to the bus stop/school gate!
