November 10, 20177 yr Yeah it did seem silly to have 4 going on a really specific theme, it's not a way to show who you are because you're limited to however many songs by that person, I know you can "make it your own" but it's still extremely limiting to have themes like this. I feel like George Michael is one of those artists as well where changing him up too much could really butcher the song so it's hard to put your own stamp on it and it'll probably be a night of samey ballads lmao. If they're gonna do doubles it should be on a normal theme like number 1s or something, so they can more or less sing what hey want. I think we'd have had a real upset on one of the nights at least with a double AND a limiting theme.
November 10, 20177 yr Still unsure why themes came back after a big announcement saying they were gone!
November 10, 20177 yr Perfect choices for Grace & Lloyd! Both could easily be "moments". Hoping the Cutkelvins are back on form this week, 'Killer' seems perfect for Shereen. Not looking forward to Matt's undoubtedly growly/shouty interpretation of Careless Whisper. Sean & Connor doing Freedom '90 seems potentially disastrous. :drama: Lmao at Sam's song choice. :') Pleasantly surprised that Jack & Joel didn't get I'm Your Man instead, or Wake Me Up Before You Go Go. Can't imagine what Rak-su's Faith will be like. Interesting that Kevin is doing Fastlove, I wouldn't have predicted that... I'm assuming he'll do Adele's slowed down version of it?
November 10, 20177 yr Still unsure why themes came back after a big announcement saying they were gone! Yeah, right  So stupid really, it would have been a big step in the right direction to allow originals every week for example if they're bigging that up so much... Like right down to the guests going on about how they love authentic music that's "real", but now the two biggest acts spearheading that are being made to sing songs that came out nearly 30 years ago :drama:
November 11, 20177 yr I have a feeling it’ll be Sam and Alisah going based on those song choices. I hope I’m wrong about the latter though
November 17, 20177 yr Girls Grace Davies: Hesitate - Grace Davies Rai-Elle Williams: Mr. Big Stuff - Jean Knight Holly Tandy: Love Me Harder - Ariana Grande / The Weeknd Groups Rak-Su: Mona Lisa - Rak-Su The CutKelvins: Saved Me From Myself - The CutKelvins Sean and Conor Price: Issues - Julia Michaels Overs Kevin Davy White: I Will Always Love You - Whitney Houston Matt Linnen: Fallin' - Alicia Keys Boys Lloyd Macey: From This Moment On - Shania Twain / Bryan White Sam Black: Oops - Little Mix / Charlie Puth
November 17, 20177 yr Sean and Conor Price: Issues - Julia Michaels Matt Linnen: Fallin' - Alicia Keys Jesus christ these are among the most ill fitting choices in XF history, they are going to be BUTCHERED Really not sure about Mr Big Stuff for Rai-Elle, bit old fashioned. I can see the other choices though, interesting to see Cutkelvins doing an original!
November 17, 20177 yr Sam's choice amused me - Lloyd's VT will be all "I can't believe I'm opening for Little Mix", meanwhile Sam does an average cover of them. The contrast is blinding. A good song choice for him though to keep him in his retro lane whilst still doing a current song.
November 17, 20177 yr Do we know which categories are on which nights yet? From those choices anyway I think Sam and Rai-Elle are deffo goners, and seeing as it's a double elimination I'd say also Sean & Conor (please) and The Cutkelvins unless their own original song is as good as the Rak-Su stuff we've heard.
November 17, 20177 yr Ooh 'Love Me Harder' is a surprising but very welcome choice *.* I hope Holly can nail it!
November 17, 20177 yr I legit can already hear Mona Lisa in my head 🙃🙃 (imma be super pissed if it's actually a cover of Britney's version though and they try and pass it off as their own ) Some great choices this week. 'Love Me Harder' is an interestingly fitting choice for Holly! From each category judging by the song choices I imagine... Rai-Elle Sean & Conor Sam Black Matt Will be the most in trouble. However, I imagine Cutkelvins are in danger too and depending on which category the groups are against, I can see Rak-su being the only group left by the end of the weekend.

Oh my GOD I would not put it past thrm Not like anyone is watchin the X Factor atm to really notice either!! Fully expectin this now, what wih them ripping Adele, Coldplay arrangements and passing them off as their own, and having Cher Lloyd copy some rap and pretend she was writing it right there and then!!
November 18, 20177 yr From This Moment On and Love Me Harder *_* Hope they get nice boosts even if the songs get butchered.
November 19, 20177 yr Running order according to TellyStats (usually reliable, sometimes gets positions wrong way around but 95% accurate): Rai-Elle: 1 Kevin Davy White: 2 Matt Linnen: 3 Holly Tandy: 4 Grace Davies: 5 Grace hype train preparing to depart *.*
