Effects are great but it's no where near as exciting as her last video, it's kind of dull overall. I agree with SKOB that the trailer was better than the video and the song deserved more.

This is the definition of style over substance and a total waste of money.

It's a CGI-fest with absolutely nothing to it and she needs a new director. Kahn is terrible.

I'm with you both - the trailer made it seem exciting. It's basically a Kahn reel set to a Taylor Swift song.

The video makes the song seem so much slower and less impactful as well.

For such an expensive looking video there's no replay value...

yeah i won't be going back to this much. it's really disappointing :(

Yeah I agree, it all looks really glossy and well produced, but I found it quite slow paced and lacking in drama which goes against everything that's exciting about the song. Unless you're a big fan looking for the nuggets in this, I'd agree about the lack of replay factor because there's little to go back to.
She did well at building hype for this as I was really excited for the video from the trailer. But the finished product is so underwhelming! I was actually one of those who did like the 'Bad Blood' music video but this one takes style over substance to another level. It felt like she was just walking for 2 minutes which really didn't fit the energy of the song. Then something actually started to happen towards the end and that didn't even feel particularly exciting :( it all looks very glossy and visually impressive as Joseph Kahn videos usually do but the content is nothing special. Disappointed after how fantastic the 'Look What You Made Me Do' video was! I wanted this to be more action packed to fit with such a thrilling song.

I thought it was great. It seemed like a subtle initiation for the album release countdown. I liked that it was toned down, especially with the eye assault of a video LWYMMD. And I mean a good assault. It’s an assault that you want. Anyways, she’s continuing to impress me throughout this whole campaign.

Well done. Slay bitch.

Fab hot hits and TTH both updated and there are now no Taylor songs on either playlist :drama: this really needs to be added to theee playlists soon for it to have any chance of going back up the charts ffs :drama:

Yep and it doesn't really work as standalone piece of art either.

The shooting, however, probably didn't took longer than 4 hrs though, most of the money was put into post-production, effects and such, not location etc.

Rumour has it that this isn't a single anymore again and she has a new single out on Friday (One with Ed and Future?)

!!!!

The actual mess

!!! Messiest campaign I've seen in ages...

I agree with the majority re. the video, it looks FANTASTIC but lacks anything in the way of a plot and ultimately fizzles out after the first minute because nothing happens.
